Social Profile:

We’ve been brewing up delicious coffee, espresso blenders, smoothies and pastries since 1998. Our goal is to make you smile with every sip, that’s why when you stop by one of our locations you’ll see a smiley face sticker smiling right back at you on every cup. Our coffee begins with responsibly sourcing some of the finest hand-selected beans in the world, and paying farmers and workers a fair wage to help improve their community’s infrastructure. Then, it’s roasted with care and love in small batches, staying true to the art of crafting quality coffee and ensuring a smooth, rich and delicious finish. You’ll taste the Scooter’s Coffee® difference in every drink.

Drive-thru chain serving espresso & other coffee drinks, plus a variety of smoothies & pastries.

Prior to today, I’ve only ever had positive experiences here. I have a gluten allergy, so when I order, I always ask for the workers to use a clean spoon, so I don’t get sick. When I asked that today, the worker told me that they couldn’t do that and that everything they have has gluten. She was very rude and it was disappointing that she clearly hadn’t had enough training on allergies and accommodations. Quite disappointed.

We were visiting Brookings and stopped by for some coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and boy was it disappointing. We ordered 2 bacon and cheese ciabatta sadwiches (no egg due to allergies), and were shocked at what we received. We paid almost $10 for what basically amounted to 2 dinner rolls with half a slice of bacon each. The flavor was decent, but seriously, I don’t remember the last time I felt this ripped off. When we asked about it at the window, the girl replied, “Yeah, it doesn’t come with much, sorry.” Definitely won’t be returning.

Went through on my way to work to get a cold brew as I like to have on an occasional basis and I was given a cup that was 90% ice. I’ll be sure to ask for light ice going forward. This was not worth $6.

Amazing drinks! Be prepared for long waits periodically throughout the day. If you’re a regular customer, their app on mobile is worth the download as you can earn points towards rewards.

This place is kind of a scam. I ordered and paid for a medium drink and got a small.

I’m leaving a 4 star because the coffee and service are typically great. However, recently when I drive through 10-15 minutes before closing the barista’s have either closed the register or just don’t respond. This being particularly disheartening since I then have to drive across town to Starbuck’s, who do stay open and responsive up to their companies displayed closing time. I worked in the service industry and I get that when it’s slow closing early is tempting but if you’re displayed closing time is 8pm, maybe shut down at 8pm or change the displayed closing time to 7:45pm and shift end time to 8:00pm for your workers. Extremely inconvenient to customers.
