Soon as I came in late about 30 mins b4 closing just wanted a lil drinky drink and when I got to the bar the bartender never even acknowledged me no hey how you doing, what you want to drink , nothing. Until I said out loud dang so you’re not gonna ask me what I want to drink . So then she has an attitude and proceeded to ask I told her don Julio shot and gave her a 20 told her I wanted my change . She then proceeded to snatch my money out of my hand ( It was a customer there who witnessed it in later after she got me throughout, said to the security guard that she snatched the money out of my hand) So when she gave me my $10 back, I snatched it back. I still was on the phone indulging in conversation talking about my experience as it’s going on at the bar she proceeds to turn around and say you’re still talking about it. You can get out and proceeds to have the security guard Tell me to leave this whole time I’m not yelling. I’m not screaming. I’m not cussing her out. I’m on the phone so when the security guard tells me to come on, I tell him no walk over here and escort me out like she asked you to do. He chuckles walks over to me and tells me to come out as we’re exiting out the building. I told him I’m gonna leave a one star review he said no one cares about reviews, which I do. Anytime I go to establishment I’m gonna look at their reviews so as we made it outside the door and I’m going back-and-forth with the security guard that’s when the customer who was in there who witnessed the whole situation go on tell security guard yeah she did snatched the money out of her hand though, and I said thank you that that’s what I’m saying. I wouldn’t just be acting like this for no reason.

It’s a great place for us, the 35 and up. Relaxed atmosphere, no nonsense. It’s a bit rough around the edges, like most bars in Garland, so don’t get your hopes up, but the drinks are cheap and the people are cool. I always have a good time there.

This place is smoky. The food isn’t too good, and the bathrooms are horrible. This place should shut down immediately, but it’s the only local spot to shoot pool. Did I mention the smoke. Oh my God. Smokey the bear would be pissed. Please avoid this spot at all cost. However, the corner spot to but pool equipment was refreshing.

I visited Scooters on Friday, August 1st and I had an awesome time! The food was excellent and very delicious and the price for food was very competitive for the excellent taste and service. The attendants at bar were awesome as well and excellent service. The music was Tejano, country and some top 40 music. All races come to this establishment…so everyone is welcome, which is awesome in these times we’re living in and the selection of music suits all cultural types. Well I definitely received “The Wow” factor!
