Stopped in for the first time during lunch for a quick bite, and I’m so glad I did! I was greeted right away with friendly service, which set the tone for the visit. I ordered the lentil soup and a Bierock—both were absolutely delicious. The soup was perfectly seasoned and comforting, and the Bierock was so tasty and satisfying.
Such a great find! I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend.

Ridiculously high—priced For one Single scoop. For it being “downtown” I was expecting low priced ice creams etc. (It’s a cute little shop with vintage decor) But workers are quite loud in there for it not being busy at all.

I am obsessed, I love this place, the ice cream is good, I haven’t had a soup I haven’t liked yet. The sandwiches are big AND delicious. You know they’re big when they sell half sandwiches or full ones. At this point I’m here nightly for dinner and the price is good!

The hospitality is out of this world. I go to scoops Monday through Friday to have breakfast. And I have the most amazing bagel, eggs and cheese. I don’t use bacon but it’s offered. They also carry Rosa brothers, milk products. And I always have banana milk.
They’re also known for their Fresno. State ice cream every bit of it is amazing.
Scoops is located in the Old Town. Clovis has a great atmosphere. And you meet people after people.

Worst customer service I ever received, the two young gentleman cashing definitely need training. Didn’t greet me nor my husband when we told them good afternoon.When I asked what flavors they had for the shaved ice the young boy just Said ( the list is next to the soda machine) as he rolled his eyes. The other young boy made my husband a milkshake and didn’t fully blend it. When we payed my husband still tipped them and the young boy cashing us out attitude changed. I don’t know if someone pissed them off before we arrived but don’t take it out on other customers. Will definitely not be returning

We went to this shop only because my son wanted ice cream. I received the Worst customer service! No greeting or simple Hi. However when other customers started coming the girl quickly greeted them and told them if they needed anything. While I proceeded to pay she was rude and didn’t even ask if I needed anything else. Not even a thank you nothing. I almost wanted to leave but I only stayed because I had promised my son ice cream. Also, Their ice cream was overpriced in my opinion. Nothing special to it. I don’t recommend this place mostly when you receive poor customer service!

Went there to treat my kids to lunch and dessert but after we ate we decided to leave and go get Costco ice cream instead of buying theirs.
The cashier was the MOST unfriendly person! No greeting. Didn’t even look at me except to ask me if I was ready to order and if I wanted my receipt. No smile, no “thank you”… nothing but “you get one bag of chips”. The bierrock was yuck, the tri tip sandwich was the smallest just ok and the chicken bake sandwich was from Costco!
I like to shop small but places like this I won’t go back to. You would think when you shop in your own small town, you would get a friendly smile when you are spending your money with them!

I know this place is a staple in old town. I’ve wanted to love it and man have I tried, but time after time I get terrible service. Most of the time I can brush it off but this most recent bad experience really broke my heart. I work in special education and we walked a group of our severely disabled kiddos over from a local school for an end of the year treat. The lady working was older and one of the least friendly people I have ever met. I had to prop the door open to push one of my students in a wheelchair through and was promptly scolded that I needed to close the door (which of course I was planning on doing once I got my student through the doorway). Some of our students were having difficulty eating ice cream off of the cones so I asked for a few bowls and spoons and was told that I would have to pay for them. I don’t know, our students don’t get to go out into the community much and it just broke my heart that this lady couldn’t even greet them with a warm hello, let alone a smile. Unfortunately this was not the first time that I’ve had a negative experience with soups and scoops but it will be my last. Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is because the ice cream is actually pretty good and they are generous with scoop sizes.
