I love to stop a ice cream shops when I am on the road. Google Maps makes them easy to find. This shop certainly didn’t disappoint. Don’t ask for more than one scoop as their scoops are huge. My wife had the Carmel Crunch in a waffle cone. She said it was yummy! I had Butter Pecan in a bowl or cup. It was delicious.

Driving back from St James, we stopped into this place for the first time. The lady serving us was very nice. Very small selection of ice cream. It was basically store-bought ice cream in big containers. I got a blizzard and asked for peanut butter to be added but they were out of peanut butter so she gave me Reeses’s cups instead which was great I do love Reese’s! I was just hoping it would be a lot better than it was. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had either. I would give it an average rating.

I live close last year one scoop in a waffle cup was 6.50 which I feel was a little high but ok. I stopped by a few days ago 1st time this year and the same is now 8.50. Thats way too high for what it is. I won’t be back.

Delicious ice cream. They use Hiland brand ice cream. We didn’t try the dipped waffle cones but those looked good as well. A couple of small complaints: it seemed pricey for what we got. $6.50 for a bourbon blizzard, we got a premium ice cream flavor with oreos. It was similar to a shake consistency but the oreos weren’t actually mixed in, only a few sprinkled on top. So that was a little disappointing.

Not dog friendly. You bring your dog, you will get a funny look and told your dog can’t be here. I was told very loudly from behind the counter infront of everyone. How embarrassing. It’s not like my dog is a big breed dog. She’s a little chorkie, less than five pounds. And I don’t like to keep her in the car because she has separation anxiety. So, I thought the 5 minutes we would be in their would be ok. Nope, I was wrong. My husband and I will probley not be going back their. Which is sad for us, we loved the place. And spent a consertable amount of money for the two of us. And we had our favorite workers their to. They knew what we ordered before we even said anything. All well, their loss. The crazy thing is, we have took our dog 2 -3 times before anything was said. Thanks “Mrs. T” for embarrassing me. The crazy thing is, I can take my puppy to DQ and get a little cup of ice-cream for free, or even starbucks gives little cups or whipped cream for free. At least they are puppy friendly.

Was hoping to come in last night for some local ice cream, but as we pulled into the parking lot we saw a large mouse scurry across the floor inside. Hadn’t even got out of the car yet and could see it clear as day. We left right away.

Great homemade waffle cones. Great icecream. Great icecream shop atmosphere.
A little pricey, they raised the prices again this year. It’s like $4.75 for a cone

It is a small place, so not really an “eat in” establishment, but the ice cream is good and the portion size is very generous. You should try in the next time you’re in the Bourbon, MO area.
