The ambiance is awesome… when we walked in smooth jazz was softly playing and so was the Lion King. We were pleasantly greeted and given the first time visitors run down. Lots of amazing choices. Sundaes, floats, shakes, scoops, all the toppings and more! I chose the cheesecake sundae with banana pudding ice cream, and my hubby chose the warm peach cobbler sundae! Both were delicious. Family owned business, so clean and very friendly! We will definitely come back when we visit Waxahachie again!!

There’s no better experience than ice cream at Scoops ice cream! The staff is super friendly – like out of their way friendly. It feels like eating ice cream on your best friends couch except that instead of a scoop of grocery store ice cream, you’re eating a warm apple pie sundae drizzled with caramel and deliciousness. My husband had a cheesecake parfait and I think I actually died and went to heaven when I took a bite. I had the brownie parfait with butter crunch ice cream and almond slivers and it was amazing too. I don’t have one single complaint about anything. The owner even stopped by to ask how our visit was and chatted with us for a while. It’s probably good we don’t live in the area, or I would be here far too much for my own good.

My cousin recommended this place. Wanted something different than the normal franchise experience. Quaint location with lots of personality. Staff was inviting and friendly. Service was fast and courteous. Advised that I was visiting due to a recommendation and they asked me to thank my family member. They also ended the transaction by inviting me back. Ice cream parfaits were amazing. I had the pecan pie and my neighbor had the peach cobbler. You won’t be disappointed. Hidden treasure

This ice cream spot is the best. I was looking for places near where I live, and this is the first place that popped up. The ice cream was so flavorful. The staff was amazing. I also love that it is a faith based business which warmed my heart. 10/10 experience and I will be back.

Today was my first time visiting. Nice family owned business. Their son was the sweetest. I tried the peach cobbler parfait (or sundae) and the moose crunch (I think that’s the name). Both were really good. I really enjoyed the peach cobbler. One thing is I wish I had more peach sauce (but that’s the whole peaches vs crust battle so not a strike against them). I’ll definitely be back.

Love the energy and passion that’s put into the making and serving of these delicious treats! Can’t say I‘ll be back TOO often but me and my family will be back! .
