Came here for lunch. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with side of Mac and cheese. The sandwich was great. Good solid sandwich. Mac and cheese was super cheese but needed something. I wish waiter would have offered to add something to Mac and cheese. Father ordered Mac and cheese, wife ordered the Nachos. They are big and tastes good but, the BBQ sauce is not on the meat its just spread on nachos. Options for domestic beers are few. Overall it was good and I will come back again if in neighborhood, but i would not go out of my way.

If you haven’t been, go, if for no other reason than to see their AMAZING bar. Solid food menu, great tap list, and one of the best whiskey menus anywhere. Thematic touches add a little fun and makes it memorable.

Such a fun spot!! They have a HUGE liquor selection. Staff was super friendly! Got a mimosa and beermosa! The steak and eggs was delicious and my date enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. It was also all very reasonably priced!

A cozy taproom and kitchen that has everything and then some on tap.
It really is a great vibe and the food portions are huge making up for the slightly pricer menu.

We went here for the first time last night and I’m already planning my next visit! The food was SO good and their menu has so many good options it was hard to choose what to get! My ruben, mac-n-cheese, razmataz mocktail, and dirt dessert were all incredible. Shambo was our server, he was helpful, nice, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu! The atmosphere was ADORABLE and an old school house with cubbies, bus benches, and so many other nostalgic details.

Quite when they first open! Food was so so maybe it’s better w a drink stronger than water. A lot of fun sauce choices if that’s your jam!

Love the themed nature of the restaurant— super cute. The food is good but nothing crazy. We’ve been twice and the service is only ok. On our most recent visit, it took over an hour to get our food and the waiter did not refill waters or check in with us.

Went here for dinner and enjoyed their commitment to the school theme while still serving great food and drinks. The customizable mac n cheese and the chicken fried steak were large portions and tasted good. They have a huge selection of whiskeys and wide range of craft beers too. Service was fast and the prices didn’t feel like we paid a premium for the gimmick, definitely worth a visit.

Really amazing building with so much character! So cool to be in a building with over 100 years of history that has been well taken care of. As far as food and drinks go it was interesting… martinis came in beer glasses and seemed like small portions. Old fashioned also came in one of their beakers and seemed like a not so generous portion. Might have just been optics but just something to keep in mind. We ordered the machine nachos and they had a lot of barbecue sauce which is clearly stated in the menu but was still an interesting choice. Overall, maybe I just need to try different menu items but had a good time in the building regardless.

For a whiskey place, they need to work on their ability to make a good Old Fashioned. The bar tender was NOT knowledgeable about the different whiskeys or how to make a good Old Fashioned. They also don’t have the big block or round ice…that should have been my question to exit stage left. Unfortunately neither the service or the drink measured up to the proce charged. You can get a much better drink and price at the local dive bar just down the street.
