My husband and I stopped at Schnipper’s for a quick lunch in the city before a tour. We had heard good things about it, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Quality chicken and a solid burger that both tasted good, plus their buffalo and honey mustard sauces were good too. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was their chocolate milkshake, there was a flavor about it that I wasn’t loving, and I’m guessing it’s the chocolate syrup they used. Plenty of seating and a great menu though!

Used to love this place but the last few times they really overcooked the burger, despite me ordering it “medium”. It comes well done, without a drop of juice left. I had to slather it in ketchup to make it edible. At this price point, it’s just not worth it.

I paid $1.50 for an extra cup of sauce for onion rings. THIS IS DUE TO GREEDY MANAGEMENT.

What a joke of a management team to require staff to charge $1.50 for sauce from a bulksized, wholesaled priced tank of chipotle ranch! The profit margins must be so narrow, a fast food restaurant on lexington ave in midtown is struggling to compete with the halal carts and newstands, boo hoo

$30 for a burger, onion rings and soda and then they want to bleed you for sauce???

Being gluten free, this was just amazing. I have never had something like this before since going gf, let alone something so delicious! Can’t wait to go back to NYC for this.

Personally, this place sucked. I got a cheeseburger with bacon and chicken tenders. They charge $1.50 for an extra side of sauce which is unheard of they charge $10 for a vanilla milkshake $10. Are they making it with some sort of luxurious milk (no I asked the guy)it’s just milk and ice cream. they didn’t give me the proper stuff on my bacon cheeseburger and they didn’t give me the proper stuff on my hotdog and I paid for it. Oh well cheaper is only two dollars and a hotdog only five dollars but I had extra stuff on it that made my hotdog nine dollars and my cheeseburger is $16. They didn’t refund it. I’ve been using DoorDash for a long time. That’s my problem. It’s not even Häagen-Dazs. The burger is not necessarily the weight of a steak burger yet it is ridiculously expensive. The chicken tenders are good but they have no actual sauce to go with them. This place is decent if it was cheap but it’s unbelievably expensive and it’s honestly robbery. I spent $41 for a bacon cheeseburger a four piece chicken tender with french fries and a vanilla milkshake. $41.to put in perspective you shake shack is considered expensive and you can legit 4 burgers and fries for the price I just said. It is robbery

Pretty good for what it is. Tasty burgers, decent fries. Probably a bit too $$$ for what you get otherwise I’d give it 5 stars

Local NYC chain serving a very extensive “American” menu of burgers, sloppy Joe, Mac n cheese, sandwiches, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and alike.

They have a very extensive menu.

Schnipper’s classic burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was absolutely delicious, good crunch from the bacon.

The fries were 5/10, way too soft. A disappointing pairing. The chocolate milkshake, for $9, was made of Hershey’s syrup and just not impressive, 1/10 for that.

The burger was so good thought that I give this place 4 stars. Nice seating too. An attempt at a diner feel.

The staff were not very friendly / hospitable, but I get it. They seemed tired

TLDR: go, get a burger, nothing else.

They have veggie burgers and vegan options.

First timer ~
Food was good and didn’t take long right after lunch rush. Staff was polite and made sure to specify how I wanted my burger cooked. Togo packaging was quite secure and made for non messy eating, very much appreciated.

I went out for a quick lunch from work. I didn’t wait very long, but it was Saturday and the place was empty, one person except me. I ordered a veggie burger and fries. The fries were quite good, the burger was standard – like everywhere else. I didn’t feel the atmosphere. The place is large, a typical food hall.

The space is large and would be very family friendly they dont have any kids meals though. Also their menu is entirely too big to read as a first timer, its got enough items to rival a nyc diner but imagine having to read all that straining your neck with all the flowery descriptions. i personally think they would benefit from trimming down the menu to about half and rotating specials ( that aren’t a 3.5 oz burger for 2 less than a full size idk who thought that was a good idea).

also I love spicy buffalo chicken sandwiches/ burgers and I hated this it was prepared as on the menu but since I ordered it based on an employee rec and I couldn’t find it on the menu it was surprising to get a gross grainy wet kale with too much sauce that it makes the bread disintegrate and a very yucky (to me) blue cheese sauce. they were surprised to be asked if I could have a plain burger instead of( but they did do it for me after talking with the manager) but I cant be the only one who thinks that is a very gross chicken sandwich. the burger was fine but the first one was too raw for me and I wasn’t asked if I wanted it well done, the second one I was asked so it was to my liking. chicken fingers were good and appropriate for a child, also shouldn’t have to ask for each topping on my burger I should be prompted. the fries are excellent and my type of fry ( more like steak fries)

would be easier to order on a mobile stand to see the menu better and to always be prompted for cooking time, and toppings. and also to see photos of the items since they are so many that way I wouldnt have ordered the gross buffalo sandwich. ( which is imo a type of burger since its on burger bread but its on its own lane to the right of the burger list and to the right of sides )
