Amazing bagels with good drinks? ✅️ Schmear Cafe in Hiawassee opened up in May of last year but they’re already making noise with their delicious bagels and drinks. Steak, Egg & Cheese on a French Toast Bagel with a Cinnamon Maple schmear….. you heard me It’s so good!!!!! The second Bagel you see is a Bacon ,Egg & Cheese with a Bacon Chive schmear.
Their Iced Chai tea is delicious, I am sticking with the fact that it tastes like a good horchata I’m not a coffee drinker but I heard someone walking out say “that’s the best coffee I’ve had in quite some time”. The owner told them the coffee is Italian coffee so if you are a coffee aficionado, stop by whenever you’re on the north side for a hike
The owners are super nice and will help you feel very comfortable as you sit and enjoy their delicious food. Quick side note… their empanadas are TASTY

Delicious in house made bagels with all house made schemer toppings. Have an egg and cheese bagel or croissant. Add bacon or sausage yum. Also house made pastries and croissants. Delicious hot coffee and other beverages. Comfortable sitting area. Come on out its worth the drive.

Super cute atmosphere and kind staff. The bagels and cream cheese are definitely their strength, with plenty of options and flavors available.
The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the coffees. Both coffees tasted like water and flavor syrups, with just hint of coffee. Being new I understand they’re still figuring things out but the coffees definitely need some help to make this place wonderful.

I cannot recommend this place enough. While not advertised as gluten free I have been able to have my first bagel in the last five years (since becoming gluten intolerant)! I love how friendly the staff are and especially love how generous they are with their schmears. Her bagel/pastries are the best I’ve ever had! The maple is incredibly addictive. The lemon is perfectly balanced and the raspberry is the perfect indulgent treat. When the cannolis are on special they are an absolute must! I haven’t tried all the coffee flavors but can recommend the butter pecan and the chai for sure.

Great selection of pastries, bagels, and coffee. They’ve been super friendly every time we visit, and they consistently have gluten free baked goods that are fantastic. It took us too long to come check this place out, but I’m glad we finally did.

Hiawassee needs more places like this! So cute and cozy inside. The food is awesome, you can get fresh made breakfast sandwiches on any bagel you choose. The pastries are amazing the owners are so nice! support your local businesses. Try it for yourself

I went to this cafe for the first time this morning. I got a poppyseed bagel and an everything bagel with the bacon chive cream cheese. Everything was delicious!! Best bagel I’ve had in north GA. The ladies inside are so sweet and welcoming. 10/10!!!

The bake goods are made on site so everything is fresh and tasty.
It’s tucked into a corner easy to miss, but once you find this place it’s going to be a “must stop by” and grab a bite.

S’mores fudge was good. Bagels just ok. And cream cheese is pricey. One bagel was $2.25 which I thought was fair. But a schmear of cream cheese was $1.50. Hubby had a bagel sandwich with sausage and the sausage was tiny. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Fabulous bagel….absolutely delicious. Not to doughy…they are light and crisp if I have to describe them. I will be a customer…need to get my salmon one next…then hope they will have whitefish
