Overall I was very pleased with this sandwich shop when my son and I visited several weeks ago. Apparently this is the last remaining schlotzsky’s location in Albuquerque! I really enjoyed the cobb salad, it was huge and the soup went very well with it. I think any of their prepared salads and the soup of the day would be a great combo. The interior of the store look like it had been newly remodeled. Very clean kitchen and friendly staff.

Got an individual today that didn’t know how to greet a customer. Didn’t say hi, may I help you? After a couple moments of silence, they just said, what do you need? When I asked for help to order on my app, he said he couldn’t help and he couldn’t get a manager to help because they were too busy.. hmm, maybe I should have just walked out.. I think I was nothing but a bother for them today.. I’m sure I’m not the only customer that has been treated like this by this person. In any case, I did place an order and was told to pick it up around the corner. The person that prepared my sandwiches was so polite, she brought the sandwiches to me and was very nice. Maybe self checkout would work out to eliminate those that don’t want to deal with the customer.

Food is great quality as usual. Kitchen is pretty fast. Guy at register is a complete dud! Mr no personality black shirt. Doesn’t like customers. Recommend they find a new front line person to keep customers. It was like he felt he was doing us a favor by taking our order.

Decided to try schlotzskys got a giant original sandwich and a cob salad with cost 11.50 to share after opening the box this was so small the lettuce was warm and wilty I tried call 6 different times before they closed with no answer. Very disappointing although I can say the sandwich was good. As we all know we work hard for our money and to get a simple salad is disappointing. I have included a picture. Update the manager hear took care of this situation and was very friendly and also the giant sandwich was awsome.

First off if im paying more then 10 dollars for a sandwich alone it better be the best sandwich ever. IT WAS NOT! the bread was soggy and seemed that it wasn’t even cooked properly. Second why would there we a 4$ up charge to switch from beef to turkey ridiculous. I will not return and that majes me sas because this was one of my most favorite places to eat. Also I fid mot order a salad why was there so much lettuce.

I waited 45 minutes for a single sandwich, with only a few people in the dining room… not acceptable by any standard. The staff wasn’t entirely friendly either. The sand-which did taste alright, however. Maybe just order take out if the dine-in experience stinks

Walked inside around 3:40 pm. Checked a few messages on my phone before approaching the counter. When I finally came back to the register ready to order a team worker had passed by the front register, completely ignoring me, and one other customer. Not even so much as a heads up was given to someone else in the back that two customers are at the register. This worker proceeded to clean the tables and chairs. I figured maybe they were just assigned a job to complete. After around a minute someone came to the drive through area and saw us standing there.
Upon ordering everything I made no changes to the sandwich. After around 1 minute and 45 seconds my sandwich was ready and brought to me.
Soda machine does not dispense ice correctly. Build up of ice is all over the machine. I did not notice it at first glance but the soda machine was in desperate need of basic cleaning of common surface areas.
Seeing the back splash of the ice machine lead me to believe the tea bins are also mistreated. Fearing the worst I just stuck with regular soda and water.
The searing area had crumbs on the floor. You can tell they had a busy day.
The amount of dust on the hanging light fixtures makes me think high dusting doesn’t get completed at all or correctly.
The food came all together. Nothing missing. Nothing made incorrectly. At first glance I thought the bacon was missing but I later found it underneath the tomatoes whilst inspecting it.
Pro tip for door dash and pick up orderers: take out the mayonnaise. That’s what keeps sogging up the bread! If you take it off it will last longer. Mayo on bread has 30 minutes tops before it soggs anything it touches.
Overall my experience here was hampered by the lack of teamwork for the front register, and the lack of cleaning. This place does deserve it’s current score as of this review: 3.8 my review is at 3 stars.

I always have a good experience at Schlotzsky’s on San Mateo & Osuna. My order is always right whether in store or online. One thing is I wish they had parking spots for orders that are not ready in drive thru. I had an online order but had to wait for 2 cars to get their order. It took about 15-20 min. That’s too long to wait for an online order that you’re just picking up through drive thru.
