Part of what makes a great Schlotzsky’s sandwich is their delicious bread! Baking this bread is an art and you can’t rush the process, your baker is not letting it prove or rise for at least 1 hour in the pans before baking for the 20 minutes to get that signature soft thick Schlotzsky’s bun, instead, we’re getting a hard, un risen almost flat bread like sandwich, Great staff, great location, great ambiance…Bad buns ☹️

Went there today for lunch and found it less than desirable. It seems they’ve started cutting corners. First they didn’t have any iced tea, only fountain drinks. The cashier said that they weren’t making tea anymore. Don’t know if it’s true or not. Secondly, the buns had no flavor and it appears they have changed recipes or something like that. They use to be churchy kinda, and really good. Third, we noticed that they were cutting down on the meat and veggies. Didn’t seem as thick as it used to be. Don’t know if I’ll return or not..
