Every time I go there my boyfriend gets the loaded baked potato soup with 6 bread in total. I just went today again and we ordered the same thing but with 4 pieces in total. Almost every time we go there, there is always this one employee that questions and asks me like 3 different times what we got and how much bread was there and so on. She has the nastiest attitude every time she gets my order wrong. Yes every time, I see this same girl every single time the order is wrong. I don’t understand. Yall probably had 3 other cars in the drive through, hardly looked busy and yall get my order wrong once again. Then when I look inside the window she’s smiling like this is cute. Like getting my order wrong isn’t cute or funny. Next time i go there and this happens I’m asking for her name and leaving a nastier review and getting ahold of management.

Inside was clean. Service acceptable, but not outstanding. I expected the bread would be softer. It was ok, just nothing to write about. I had the roast beef sandwich and the roast beef was very good quality,lean. Crispy red onions a nice touch, but very few. Tomato was your standard, horrible store bought, unripe, flavorless tomato. Just mayo on the sandwich, no mustard. Cinnabon sold at same place. $3.49 for a small one.

I’ve been a costumer since I was in high school at the original Schlotsky’s. I have loved them for decades. This store is a franchise. The bread is rarely toasted. But it’s convenient. Yesterday, I ordered using the app for the first time. I spoke to the microphone and told them I’m there to pick up an order I purchased on the app. My meal was supposed to be ready for pickup 20 minutes earlier. I sat for 10 minutes, patiently. There was a young girl there filling up drinks. I didn’t order drinks. I didn’t tap on the glass. I waited patiently. Ten minutes later another person walked into the area. Neither person at this point acknowledged my presence. Finally, I said, is anyone going to talk to me or am I invisible. So, the second person ‘Luz’ said she was the manager. She said she couldn’t understand me at the mic (it wasn’t her voice, it was a 1/2 awake teenager). She had a very thick Hispanic accent. She finds my food and gives it to me. No apology, nothing. I asked what was wrong. My food is cold. She said I could complain to the phone number on my receipt and was very disrespectful. I’ll never return to this location. Cold food (they could have kept it warm) and I seriously doubt ‘Luz’ was the manager or will be for long. Unqualified!

This location is convenient but mediocre. They get my order right most of the time, but always check your bag and drink before leaving.
My biggest annoyance is actually with the franchise and over a couple pennies though. Pennies are being phased out, we know this. If you pay with cash, expect to be shorted the pennies. While its not a big deal at the end of the day, as a fellow business owner the principal annoys me. If you do not want to keep pennies on hand anymore, you have two options 1. Update pricing to increments of $0.05 OR you (the business) take the hit when you cannot provide exact change.

This is the worst Schlotzky’s in all of Texas. They must be a franchise store with cheap owners, because they never honor national promotions. Corporate should reprimand these owners for diminishing confidence in the company name. Imagine McDonalds not honoring a deal in a commercial. This location makes Schlotzky’s look bush league.

Lady at the drive thru window at about 8 was very rude. Rushed me through ordering and then basically threw my food at me with a snarky “have a good night” and a dirty look. The food was awesome though. I just felt like I was an inconvenience for ordering one sandwich… Usually really nice people there so this was very disappointing.

On 02/01/25, I ordered a veg pizza with added pepperoni. Let me also say that I drove out of my way because the west Galveston location’s card reader was down but I know they have the weekend pizza special. First of all, when I got to the window, they quoted $16+. I questioned about the special. Worker said , “oh, you want the special? “Duh.
Upon arriving home, my order was completely wrong and I called that evening to get someone to address this. Voice mail picks up and I left a message. By the way, message says you’ll get a call back the next day.
After 5 days, 4 calls and 2 messages left and no one responding, I went in the store. The worker Luz listened to what I said and proceeded to smirk and just said that she needed a paper receipt or the food back. I showed her the transaction on my bank app and a picture of what I got, she still repeated paper receipt, etc. Then I just said, “Give me the manager’s information. She proceeded to give me a name and number. (The number was the same one that always goes to voice-mail.
I understand why certain businesses have policies in place, but with the attitude of this worker and whether they were going to overcharge me at the drive thru if I hadn’t mentioned the special brings up the questions of who’s in charge and what is their training.
I almost never write online reviews but I really had no choice at this point . And if I’d just been given a 50% refund and would have been happy.
