My favorite since I was a child over 50 plus years, originally founded in ’71. It’s the most consistent sandwich. It’s been good, no matter what location I visit, from Colorado, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas and used to be in Utah. Sad face, the Utah closed during Covid. But by far the best sourdough sandwich I’ve ever had. I get the Original sandwich every time, but all the food is good. Got the mac and cheese last time, I liked it as well. Overall good food.

We stopped there last night to get a deluxe original sandwich that was pretty bad. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the sandwich until we got home & it was too far to go back. The bread was so old it was falling apart, the tomatoes & onions were stale. The server should have suggested something different knowing that the items weren’t fit to be used. This is my first time leaving a review but this was ridiculous especially considering the price. It’s unacceptable.

Clean,across from park/zoo. The staff are kind and attentive. The food is yummy. I love the new marketing. We have gone two weeks in a row. They have a nice patio.

They have changed their meat. Used to love the smoked turkey and now the meat isn’t deli style thin, it’s sliced and thick. Maybe some peoples preference but I preferred it the old way. It doesn’t taste as good anymore.

“Under new management” signs outside, so you’d think it was better managed than the previous. Fix your outdoor sign. It’s not been lit up for the last 2 nights I went in at 6:30pm. I joked with the girl at the front that I almost missed it cuz it wasn’t lit up. She said nothing…sorry, it’s broken…or, oops we forgot to turn it on. The day before yesterday, no roast beef. Well there goes half the menu. Tonight at the same time, no sliced pickles for the sandwich. Hmmmmmm…inventory needs to be managed a little better. Also no Cinnabons tonight, nada. She told me if I wanted to wait, she could bake some. Uh…shouldn’t there be always be some out without a customer needing to wait for them to be baked? The day before yesterday when I was in, it was full of Cinnabons!

It was okay but they were out of a lot of stuff. I ordered a roast beef sandwich, they were out. We ordered a cinnamon roll, they were “out” even though we were literally looking at them at the counter. They brought us our sandwiches which were falling apart because they were out of toothpicks. The whole time we were eating we were listening to the loud TV next to us playing YouTube videos of boxing and Roblox because one of the employees just lets their son use the restaurant TV for his own entertainment during hours. So that was distracting and weird. It wouldn’t have been so bad jf the sound was at least off. The restaurant was really clean though.
