The service was awesome. Young man took my order was very polite, while another lady kind of cleaned up the dining area. She was very polite also she was very respectful and helpful. The only loser that day was the food. The sandwiches were almost unedible. The only reason I did not go back and get my money as I was traveling on the highway and stopped and this was the only sandwich shop. If you are craving a deli sandwich, do not go to schlotzsky’s. Go to Subway or Penn station instead. Better quality of food.

We have been to this location about 5 times. The service is not fast, but considering the sandwiches are made fresh and to order, the timing is fine. The employees working here are efficient and have always been friendly. The sandwiches are always tasty. We appreciate the option for a gluten free bun, which is soft and flavorful. We will be back!

I love schlotzskys! The food is always great. If you visit the one in smiths grove, make sure to go inside an order because their drive thru always takes forever! I’ve given the drive thru here multiple chances. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars. The drive thru took over 20 mins to get food and I was the only one in the drive thru. I think that’s a little excessive to have to wait that long. Other than that, great place for lunch.

Friendly staff, clean establishment. More amenities than the actual truck stop next door! We passed up using our credit at TA to get a sandwich over here and I am happy with that choice. We had the fiesta chicken and the Albuquerque turkey. Size medium on the jalapeno bun was a lot of food. $28 for 2 medium combos. The meat is shaved which is the only way to have a superb sandwich. We’ll definitely be back.

I’m so disappointed in the decline in quality. I’ve not been in a few months, but used to go frequently. Yesterday, we went and it was appalling. From ordering to the food. The cashier got on a personal phone midway during the order while we were speaking the order and put fingers inside our glasses after touching that phone and their nose. We ordered what we usually do, but this time it took longer than usual. That would’ve been fine, but the quality didn’t justify the wait. It was like day old fridge sandwich quality. We both ordered a medium, mine was a medium with extremely dry, cracked stale bread. His was two small sandwiches. We assume they were out of medium for his or recent bread for mine where it was just over an hour away from closing. The sandwich ingredients weren’t the usual quality either, nor the soup. I got a larger portion so I could share with my toddler, I was unable to trust it to share and barely could eat it myself. We should’ve just gotten our money back, but we were trying to not be trouble. They seemed stressed and unhappy, not friendly and inviting. Overall, we’ve always loved Schlotzsky’s, but it’s not the same as it once was. The table was dirty, visible dust around the salt and pepper shakers and the floor had crumbs so bad it got all over my case when I dropped my phone. Plus so many flies, it was awful! I know it’s in a gas station, so I don’t expect perfection, but it was never this bad before. Sometimes slow or sometimes the tables messy, but not all issues at once. I’d really been looking forward to getting my Schlotzsky’s fix, but instead super disappointed and nausea wasn’t what I had in mind. Please do better, I miss the food.

Don’t let the outside of what looks like a tiny gas station fool you. This place is super nice inside and has a variety of classic Schlotzsky’s sandwiches paired with Cinnabon and Carved Ice cream. There is also a full grocery store inside. The sandwiches were delicious and the staff was friendly.
