Anyway, I’d do it again. With double meat.
So check em out if you’re ever in the neighborhood and Holla at a Playa.
There were a number of other people that seemed to wait an excessive amount of time after ordering (by the looks of frustration on their faces). One group of 3 had 2 of their sandwiches come out, but the 3rd waited another 10 minutes for her salad to come (after she inquired where it was).
I ordered a medium hot ham and cheese without olives or tomato. Tasted “ok,” but didn’t have much ham on it, certainly not like it’s pictured.
First Visit — and I’m Seriously Impressed!
Just tried Schlotzsky’s for the very first time today, and I can confidently say this place blew me away. I ordered the Chicken Club Flatbread, a Side Caesar Salad, and a Dr. Pepper, which came out to about $22.65 — and it was worth every single penny.
The flatbread was absolutely amazing. I’m talking next-level good. The way the grilled chicken, peppers, and chipotle mayo all blended together was pure perfection. Every bite had that perfect balance of smoky, spicy, and savory flavor, and the thin flatbread itself had just the right amount of crispness — light and crunchy on the edges but soft enough to enjoy without falling apart. You can tell they care about what they’re serving here.
The Caesar salad was also fresh and full of flavor — crisp lettuce, crunchy croutons, creamy dressing, and everything chilled just right. It was the perfect side to go with the flatbread, and it really tied the meal together. Even the Dr. Pepper was spot-on: cold, fizzy, and refreshing.
On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent. My host, Deepali, deserves a big shoutout — super friendly, helpful, respectful, and made me feel welcome right away. My food came out fast, hot, and fresh, and I could tell the kitchen was on point.
Overall, this was a 5/5 stars, 10/10 experience. Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was perfect for a first visit. I’m definitely coming back soon to try more of the menu — this might just become one of my new go-to spots.
Service: …
Friendly staff. Service was a bit slow. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our food after ordering. There is a drive up window. Also, you can download an app and pre-order your meal.
The prices are NOT on the board. You have to ask what the price is for a given item. For three sandwiches (one small, two mediums), we paid over $28. No drinks or meal deals. A bit pricey, we thought.
Easy to find. Right off Interstate 75. Located beside the Shell station.
I doubt we will be a returning customer.
