*****Edit. A few days after writing this review, I received a check in the mail for the over payment! I appreciate the response to this issue! Still disappointed it took so long. The money wasn’t necessarily the issue, it was the feeling that the Bakery didn’t take my inquiry seriously. However, thank you for making this right!*****

I pre-ordered an apple pie and dinner rolls for my Thanksgiving dinner. When I went to pick the order up the day before Thanksgiving, they didn’t have it ready. They finally accommodated me however, I was charged almost $70 for an apple pie and 2 dz dinner rolls. When I sent a message after Thanksgiving to dispute the charge, I was told that I was over charged $21 and I would be made right. It is now March and I was never made right! Horrible customer service! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS BAKERY! I can drive over an hour to an Amish settlement in Ethridge, TN and get better prices and better product!

This bakery is THE BEST. All of their goods are great. We especially love their Fried Pies, with Apple and Peach being our favorites. They make all of their goods from scratch with great quality ingredients. In addition, we’ve enjoyed their Cinnamon rolls, brownies, oatmeal cream pies, Choco pies, lemon bars, sourdough bread, and the 100% pure honey.

Mighty mighty tasty. Fresh ingredients and very reasonably priced. If freshly baked sourdough bread is available, absolutely get some and eat it immediately! Employee James informed us that he had some fresh loaves available as we were checking out. Talk about fortuitous timing!

We ended up also buying a pan of cinnamon rolls, some fried cherry and blackberry pies, and an m&m brownie. Everything was wonderful and delicious.

The fresh warm sourdough, however, was totally de-lish! It was gone before we knew it. Not only is Schlabach’s goodies worth the one hour drive from Bowling Green, the views through the KY countryside are soul recharging and refreshing. Make it happen and take the drive. You will not regret it.

Used to visit this bakery with my mom who passed away in 2001. We were in Tennessee for Easter with family and decided to ride up. Memories sure flood back turning into the parking lot and the smell of freshly baked goods were pure nostalgia.

Got lots of goodies to fill our bellies although one loaf of the bread didn’t make it back to the house 30 minutes away. We pulled it off in chunks just like mom and I used to do. <3

This place is great. We visited kind of late on a weekend afternoon when their stock was kind of depleted, but they still had great options available. There were a good variety of baked goods like bread, cakes, cookies, etc. They also had a variety of bottled drinks, jams, and other goodies. This was my first visit and we got a few different things and everything was great. Definitely worth a visit.

A new discovery for me is this quaint little bakery off the beaten path! Their food is to die for and super fresh! You can find everything from bread to pies and delicious cakes as well.

They make the most mouth watering fried pies I’ve ever had!!!!! Move over Hostess and Little Debbie because Schlabach’s Fried Pies are the winner HANDS DOWN!! They have apple, peach, blackberry, and even Chocolate; which is my absolute favorite!!!!!

So if you’re in the area or looking for a nice drive in the country, please check out Schlabach’s; you will not be disappointed and they are even open on Saturday!

I give them 10 ⭐️ and 10 !!!!!!❤️

We try to head out here about twice a year to pick out some goodies. We always get the cinnamon rolls and a few fruit pies. There’s cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, honey, and a few more goods to pick from. The last new delicious thing we found there was Slappy’s Sauce. They also have some Amish made furniture outside for purchase. We bought a swinging rocker bench from them a few years ago for our back porch and it still looks brand new.
