This place reminds me of home. From the jazz music they play, to the New Orleans decor all around. The food was amazing. I had the Duck St. Charles with red wine risotto. I also tried the fried calamari and beignets for dessert. Lets just say, I brought the beignets home for breakfast and coffee. The Duck St. Charles was juicy, succulent and flavorful. The St. Charles sauce was very good. This dish usually comes with jambalaya, but I paid the little extra for the risotto. This is place is a must if you like good fresh seafood and true feel of New Orleans cuisine. Oh by the way, there moving to a bigger location. Be ready for open bar and more dinning space. I’m so excited.

This was my first time here! My bestie said I think this spot might be to your liking. I was like sure let’s try it. I am so glad I did. Nicole our waitress was awesome she broke down the menu for my first time. Her recommendations did not miss. If I tell you she was on target! I believe that my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I mean wow. I will most definitely be back. All I am going to say is I had the lamb chops and stuffed shrimp!!! Baaaaaaaybe!!!

The treatment my family and I received was completely unacceptable and made us feel intentionally uncomfortable.

My sister reserved a table for 10 guests from 6:00–8:00 PM. By 6:20 PM, staff repeatedly questioned when the rest of our party would arrive, even though we were well within our reservation time. By 6:30 PM, chairs were actively removed from our reserved table, and by 7:00 PM, we were left with only five chairs, forcing us to ask for seating again when additional guests arrived. This should never happen with a confirmed reservation.

Throughout the evening, we were excessively watched, spoken about openly by staff, and treated as if we were a problem rather than paying guests. One waiter audibly told another, “This is going to be a longgg wait,” while referring to our table. We were rushed to place our orders, and our food arrived in about 10 minutes, yet it was lukewarm, with no steam, and clearly not freshly prepared.

The overall experience felt dismissive, rushed, and disrespectful. Instead of hospitality, we were met with judgment and pressure. The question that remains is simple: why were we treated this way? At what point did we deserve to be handled differently than other guests?

Dining out should never make anyone feel unwelcome or targeted. This experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism, respect, and accountability, and management needs to address how guests especially groups are being treated.

We decided to have our wedding reception at Schilleci’s since it’s our favorite restaurant, whenever family or friends come to visiti we always take them here. Not only is the food amazing, the service is absolutely wonderful and memorable each time, shoutout to Nicole! For the wedding, I was already so stressed with the planning and the manager made things so easy and were so accommodating, both during the planning and the reception itself. It couldn’t have been easy hosting 28 people but they did it so seamlessly and we appreciate them so much. They are a wonderful restaurant and I hope to celebrate our wedding anniversary here for years to come. Cannot recommend it enough!

I have tried authentic Cajun and Creole food, I lived in Garden District and to be honest this restaurant blew my mind… Every single dish tasted so DELICIOUS and it reminded me of NOLA. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We tried gumbo-appetizers, Cajun fettuccine alfredo, Jambalaya with shrimp, Fried gulf coast sampler and bread pudding. I totally recommend this awesome place.

Very good spot. Crawfish Spring Rolls and gumbo were great, star of the show was the Barramundi with Crawfish Corn Bread… And the beignets were out of this world!
Definitely be back!

An INCREDIBLE birthday experience. Great atmosphere, an attentive wait staff, and of course THE FOOD. We left absolutely stuffed and very satisfied: the bread pudding will have you ADDICTED. A must for a fantastic night out.

We didn’t have a reservation but they still got us in and seated us right away. As soon as we get to our table we were given these amazing homemade chips, full of flavor!
The our waiter was so attentive and helpful with specials and the menu. So we got the Rockefeller oysters and they didn’t disappoint. We ended up splitting the fish over risotto and a creamy crawfish sauce.
Since they only serve wine and beer I asked for a good sweet wine and again our waiter came in clutch!
I loved everything about this restaurant and would love to go back when we have to head to the woodlands area again!!

As a traveler I prefer a place with a bar. I had the jambalaya and a glass of wine. It was good, but not great. There is a decent wine selection. Maybe this is just not the place for me; I wasn’t in the mood for barramundi at $60 an entree. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with the restaurant. It is cozy and intimate. It’s just more a place for date night, not a visitor to the area.
