We used to eat here often at weekends. The food I like isn’t available at the buffet anymore like uttapam and shrimp and some other dishes. We dined in and ordered gravy dishes and biryani. The food was good and the service was too. The owner was very welcoming and polite. I recommend you to try this place.

We went for lunch buffet on Sunday. Ambience is very nice and I can say this is a better place in terms of ambience among all indian restaurants in Schaumburg area. There are decent number of varieties in beg and non veg items in buffet. Except for couple of items, taste of all items is good. Tandoori chicken, fish starter and mutton rogan josh were good. Biryani was just okay. Overall nice place to visit!!

I had to change my rating from 5 to 1 . Quality of the restaurant has come down drastically. Horrible service and experience. Food quality was really bad . Murg malai kabab was extremely salty they served without any chutney on the side , Biriyani .. sorry you cannot call that . Its just chicken and rice with a lot of black pepper (had to return it ) .Naan was cold and not completely cooked . Really disappointing. Not going back anymore .

This restaurant have the quality to be one of the best Indian restaurant in Schaumburg. Great ambience, very clean , delicious food , fast service , spacious tables and they manage not to over price anything . I had my doubts while ordering chicken dum biriyani , but I am glad i did it ! It was amazing . So was masala dosa ( smell of ghee in dosa is rare to feel nowadays in the restaurants ) . Appetisers and drinks are good too . Overall great experience, will definitely go back for more .

Food was delicious and fresh! Samosa, dosa and naan came out hot and perfectly crisp. Shrimp curry dish had just the right amount of heat! Will definitely be returning to try their weekend buffet!

Although I got several items from the buffet (as evident by the below picture), I’d like to spotlight the butter chicken. It was my first time going to a restaurant that caters to the Indian palate and it did not disappoint. The butter chicken was tangy, tender, and well-seasoned. The aesthetically-pleasing golden curry the chicken marinated in had a rich texture that further whetted my appetite. It paired excellently with the rice by offering a refreshing contrast between the subtle spiciness of the former and the mildness of the latter. The butter chicken was amazing and by far the best dish I had Schaumburg Indian Bar & Banquet.

Really large place would be amazing for get together a. We went Monday night and it was slow and empty. But the server was great and the food was pretty good. The service could have been better but it seemed they were understaffed. Still it was good and we would go back again.

So here’s what I ordered:
– chicken biryani
– mutton biryani
– chilli chicken
– Gobi 65
– jamun
– carrot halwa
Wait time: short staffed, so we waited for 50 mins exactly.
Service: waitress didn’t even bother to give us water. And even when we asked, she gave us this really small pocket water bottle from Costco.
Food: appetizers were okay; entrees were bland, which upsets me because I was expecting my taste buds to be singing considering Indian food is flavorful. The dessert was decent, but was almost the same as store bought desserts.
Pricing: It makes sense when you eat the food as why it’s not too heavy on your pocket. But still, like bland Indian food?!
In my opinion, you can go there if you’re really hungry and you don’t wanna splash too much cash. But if not, you might as well head to chick fil a or some fast food joint.

We ordered Palak Paneer, Mysore Masala Dosa, Chicken Tikka masala and Veg Biryani. We loved the Palak Paneer and Chicken Tikka masala . Dosa was good but was not crisp and way too spicy for us, may be we will eat the dosa their instead of a carryout next time. They have ample amount of parking space. Lots of offers going and the quantity is worth the money. Nice Indian food spot. Must try.. we are looking forward to try their other dishes soon. Adding more we tried their Samosa and Shahi paneer it was delicious.

If you want real Hyderabadi food that’s freshly made, nicely presented, and tastes 100% authentic Hyderabadi, look no further than Schumburg grill! Delicious freshly made food, good ambiance, reasonably priced and personable service! I can’t say enough about this place. Try their biryani once and you’ll be hooked!

Their biryani reminded me of the authentic Hyderabadi Biryani from one of the Paradise/Bawarchi outlets.
Above all, Bhupathi was the guy who took our order; he was very friendly and recommended the best dishes based on our preferences. I’m so glad we found this place and this is our only Desi food stop from now on!
