Myself and some friends decided to have dinner here after going to Legoland. We saw they had good reviews, and I always love good BBQ. Everyone tried something different, from country fried steak, wings, ribs, and pulled pork. Everything was delicious and made with care. We arrived before the dinner rush, so we were the only patrons in the restaurant for a short while, so sitting in the peace and quiet after the theme park was very welcome. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the prices are average for good BBQ. I would visit here again for sure!

This place was deserted. There’s lots of seating and the decor was of hunters classic BBQ place. The food was ok, and we we’re still hungry after we had our meals. The prices were on the higher side. I was interested in the salad bar, but it wasn’t anything special. The staff were pleasant and nice. And there’s lots of free parking and it’s off a side road (Google Map gps suggested).

Although our neighbors referred us to this restaurant because they enjoy the catfish and cold beer, our experience was awful. My husband ordered the sirloin steak special which came with a side salad and potato. The steak was so tough, he could barely cut it. He had two bites and it tasted awful. He does not eat salad, so he asked if he could substitute for mac and cheese. The portion of the mac and cheese came in a tiny plastic cup that you would serve salad dressing in. Because he substituted the side salad for the mac and cheese, we were up charged $3.70 for this item which was a forkful.
I ordered the pulled pork dinner which came with a potato and another side, in which I chose the baked beans (which came in the same salad dressing size container as the mac and cheese my husband ordered). With the dinner, you could order the salad bar for an additional $2.95, which I opted to do. The salad bar had quite a few items, however, I had only a small plate of iceberg lettuce, 2 tomato pieces and dressing. The pulled pork looked and tasted like it had been made a week ago. It was completely dried out as you can see by the pictures, and honestly, I took one small bite, and it tasted like dirty dish water. I did eat the small portion of beans that were good and the part of the potato that was not hard. When our waitress came to bring our bill, she noticed both our plates were still full. She asked if we wanted boxes to take our meals home. I explained the meats were awful and we could not eat them. She again asked if we wanted boxes to bring it home. I said no thank you and she handed us our bill for $46.79 and said I can take that up when you are ready. I asked if she could speak with her manager because we could not eat most of our meal, and if the bill could be adjusted. She left with the bill and came back with a new one for $36.43. It made no sense to us, so we asked her to explain it. They decided to remove my pulled pork meal for and charge me full price for the salad bar as if I had chosen it for a meal. We just wanted to leave so we paid it and I stopped at the hostess desk on the way out and asked to speak with the manager. The woman at the desk explained there is no manager on duty and that they decided on hat to do with our bill. We shook our heads and left. This was, by far, the worst place we have eaten in FL since we moved her 9 months ago. The owner(s) should be embarrassed to serve this food. Please see the pictures below. Very nice staff. Decor is definitely unique. Unfortunately the food was nothing special or out of the ordinary. The Mac and Cheese was my least favorite. Garlic toast and the straight fries were the best things on our plates. Homemade sauces were pretty good which was needed for the pork. Honestly there maybe better options for a true bbq experience.

Sometimes a restaurant (could be a bad day a person is having), however, there is no reason to keep screwing up especially since I was very nice through it all.
I ordered beef ribs. I was given pork ribs, when I pointed it out, I was told, “oh, it is?” Server took the plate back to the kitchen then came back and said “oh, I guess we don’t have beef ribs, only beef slices or pulled beef”.
They took so long to get the sliced beef after being told it would take a few minutes.
Lucky for me, their salad bar was good. They have an awesome, must try beef soup.
I asked for my food to go. The person couldn’t even get my ticket so I can pay my bill, waited almost 10 minutes.
People were nice. They just couldnt get it together today.

This is one of the best restaurants in winter haven, some of there best foods are chicken and dumping soup! Then there fries and ranch are delicious! To early for lunch? Those biscuits and gravy are also delicious! This is a great restaurant with great service and food!

I haven’t had bbq this good since I left Pensacola, Florida!! We got the dinner for 2 and it might as well been dinner for 4, we had to take tons of it home with us! We are visiting from Kissimmee but plan to come back time and time again!!! Love it. They need more signs off of the highway to see it.
