First time there under the new ownership. Excellent attention by the new owner as soon as I walked in with a friend. I’m a pizza lover and wanted to try their thin crust pizza.. My God ❤️ it was awesome and the calamari was fresh and it tasted good. Will be back soon and I highly recommend it… the picture shows I almost completely finished all the calamari lol ….Tu tu bene grazie a Dio..

My new go-to restaurant for pizza and dinners. The new owner, Francesco, is friendly and welcoming, greeting everyone that comes in as if they’re family coming for Sunday dinner. Being both Italian born, he and I instantly hit it off.
The pizza is tasty and flavorful. The dinners IMHO are the best in the area. Francesco’s nonna’s Sunday Gravy consists of a brachiole, a giant meatball, and a chunk of rib served over pappardelle, and the serving is big enough to share. It was delicious (definitely a 10 out of 10!), and just as good as my mother’s. Looking forward to going back and trying something new.

I felt like family, this was honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I was visiting from out of town and wanted NY pizza and stumbled across this place. I doubled my bill for tip, I’ve never done that.

Last day of our NYC visit and my family was beat & starving after all the walking around Manhattan & navigating the subways/ transit to return to Cranford, NJ where we parked our car at a friends house. It was late night and we wanted one more slice of heaven before our next long drive to southern Delaware, when our friend recommended Scaturro’s Pizzaria & Cafe. Being a family of four, everyone wanted a different slice, and they accommodated us with no questions. They even made a fresh pie so we could have two slices. The owner Francesco introduced himself and enhanced our experience with conversation about the area and his recipes. I had a slice of the sausage, which was amazing, you can tell it’s fresh ground and not some store bought frozen brand. The pasta dishes surrounding us looked legit and I was tempted to order the Fettuccine Alfredo after three other tables ordered it right next to us. The atmosphere & owner made us feel like we were invited to eat in his home and we weren’t just another transaction, but a friend visiting for dinner. It was a byob, so the table next to us shared a glass of white with my wife when we tried to order some. My daughter even surprised us when she crowned her Margherita slice even better than Brooklyn’ Famous Grimaldi’s which we had earlier for lunch and at the time was her favorite of all time. If you get the chance, skip the fast food and experience life with Francesco’s authentic Italian eatery, you’ll love the vibe & food. The prices also didn’t break the bank, which is very welcomed for families living through high inflation.

Had pizza from the new owners for the first time. The pizza was excellent!!!!! The staff and the owner, Francesco, were so nice. Nice that they are all Italian. You know the food is going to be good. Will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to try their food.

I just wanted to post a review on here and say how amazing this place has been to us throughout the years!!! We order from here all the time for our office and they are always delightful to work with, professional, and always show up on time as scheduled. Not to mention the pizza is absolutely delicious!!! And today specifically, I placed a large pizza order and totally forgot I wanted to add a salad to my order. When I called back, the gentlemen was so kind and said not worry about the additional cost for the salad and I couldn’t be more grateful for his generosity!!!

First time under the new owners. Ordered a plain pizza. Crust was thin and good, pizza was well done and not at all greasy. Sauce had a sweet taste. Would order again, very good option compared to others in the area.

The food is terrific..I had a sausage and peppers sandwich..it was good til the last bite. My wife had a cheese steak and it was delicious no leftbovers…

If you bought a Local Flavor voucher and have not redeemed it yet (because the place was closed for a while) be careful and email Local Flavor to get your money back. Today I ordered a pizza and when I went to pick it up the owner refused to honor the voucher saying they are new owners and it doesn’t apply. Finally, he told me (in a very condescending manner) that he was going to make an exception and honor the voucher for this time only. He said it as if he was doing me a big favor. I did not like his attitude. So I left. I used to buy pizza on occasion from this place before it closed and reopened. But never again under this new management.
