Second time at the Scat Cats cafe for Mickey beignets and they are a must have!!! So light, pillowy, warm and delicious. We always get the caramel sauce to dip them. Very tasty, just don’t breathe out too much or the icing sugar goes everywhere!
We took the boat from Disney springs over to Port New Orleans – Riverside and walked along the River to the French Quarter. Very nice walk!

First time I’ve decided to make the treck over to this resort. So glad i did and i wll be coming back in the future! The beignets are so warm and delicious. The addition of the caramel sauce i thought would be too sweet but it was perfect! Wish you could have bought just a single one but oh well, definitely still worth it!

Located in Disney’s Port Orleans, Scat Cat’s Club Cafe is a quaint little dessert shop next door to the food court area just off the lobby. You can’t drive on property to eat there, because they don’t take reservations. Riding a boat over from Disney Springs is your best idea- it’s a 15 minute ride in a covered boat that takes you right to the dock. When you finish, walk along the waterway over to Port Orleans Riverside. They have a great gift shop here and a fabulous food court for a bigger meal than a snack. You can also take a Disney bus to get on property.
Stop in Scat Cat’s for coffee, beverages and amazing beignet treats. They have specialty and Mickey-shaped beignets all year long, plus favorites like Baton Rouge Beignets, spiffed up with Bailey’s, Kahlua, and RumChata. The Goulish Beignets ($9.49) are a fall favorite of ours, easily shared by two. The beignets with ice cream are !!!!
Sit outside the ordering area for a view of the lobby, and be sure to pop in their also-cute gift shop. Scat Cat’s is open daily from 7 AM to 11 PM. The bathrooms at Port Orleans are always clean.

Located in the Disney Port Orleans Resort, very nicely themed and ample parking and seatings. We ordered the 6 Mickey-shaped beignets for $13 which is good priced for the size of each beignet. It was very soft and fluffy, it hit the spot after our dinner! Do recommend if you’re in the area!

The Mickey Mouse head benights were piping hot. The chocolate sauce was delicious. My boyfriend and I had some there, and we were able to take some home to enjoy later.

I’ve waited for years to come here and tried every angle and finally we made it fit for our recent trip, TWICE. We loved it so much we came back. The lounge has an incredible jazz vibe and service was exceptional. The drinks were amazing and consistent. Do yourself a favor and order a hurricane.

Although the line was long it moves quickly. The beignets were very good, and worth the trip, but they were not comparable to New Orleans’ beignets.

Hidden gem alert. Came here with my wife for her birthday for a drink. Great service and treated to some music at the same time. Lots of people come here for the beignets either in the club or the cafe lounge next door. Great place to hang out in French Quarter. Props to Vicky for excellent service! 🙂

This is a small jazz lounge bar at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. The lounge area is cozy. It has some small tables that seat about four people scattered throughout the bar. There are also small tables with a barrel chair on each side. The bar is full service, but they have a list of specialty cocktails. You can also order some food items, such as the beignets. The live entertainment starts around 7:30pm on select evenings. It’s a chill/relaxing atmosphere.
