I rarely do restaurant reviews. This place is exceptional. We had take out with the cioppino, lasagna, chicken parmigiana and Cesar salad. All dishes were some of the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve travelled all over Italy. Very impressive.
We live in Seattle and I cannot wait to get back to Blaine just to eat here. The inside looks wonderful and I would love to actually dine inside someday too.

Really amazing food and personal care and attention by the staff. This place is a little gem. My wife and I visited for the first time but this certainly won’t be the last. Their wine selection is limited and frankly overpriced, but in consideration of how difficult it is to keep an establishment like Scampi Osteria operating, I’m happy to pay that premium if that means helping keep the doors open.

WoW AMAZING have had pizza and pasta! They were all GREAT! FRESH HOME MADE!!! The taste is out of this world. Staff amazing. Pizza pictured is margarita and meat lovers ! Great date night or any night will go as often as I can, rotating menu always new things!!

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant on a Thursday evening. Great cozy atmosphere, and a charming hostess/ server . My meal was delicious and generous in the portion. It made a perfect lunch the next day . The bread served was perfect in texture and taste , I would have liked to have control over the Olive Oil and balsamic served with the bread . I like to mix them myself on a small plate with some sea salt . We had a great time ! And there are many items on the menu that I am looking forward to trying. I can’t wait !

Small, cozy place (make a reservation) with limited but rather pricy menu. For 5 people it was around $300 (including tip) with no alcohol. The meal was good, but not something I’m craving to go back to for more. (But I’m not particularly fond of seafood). The salad was really, really good – honey mustard dressing with apples and goat cheese – but the asparagus was a little disappointing.
Overall, everyone enjoyed the meal, though.

The atmosphere was nice and cozy. I had the seafood stew, which was pricy by well worth it. Fabulous flavor and lots of variety of seafood. My wife had the lasagna, which was boring and tasteless. That was her opinion. I tried it and agreed. You would think that an Italian restaurant would have that one down. So it’s a mixed review.

I was very impressed that the owners are actually waiting tables and cooking, that is the way it should be done.
Only one issue, we asked for separate checks, waitress didn’t hear that, so trying to pay and leave was slow. I had the black ink pasta with scallops and prawns, absolutely delicious!

What a gem! I’ve been looking forward to the opening and they did not disappoint! Was so excited to see them open today we made reservations right away and brought our 3 year old who didn’t have a nap all day (it could have been a real disaster). Everyone was very friendly and while it’s a fancier sit down restaurant than elsewhere in Birch Bay they were very accommodating with a small child. They greatly exceeded our expectations! Wonderful presentation and amazing food. I had the pappardelle di mare which came with a white sauce. I’m usually hesitant to order white sauces because I find them too bland. This had just the right amount of spice to not overpower the beautiful fresh seafood that accompanied it. They made my daughter a wonderful plain pasta with butter sauce and cheese that she devoured until she discovered she loved mine and helped me finish mine. Hubby had the chicken parmigiana and loved it (I tasted it as well and it was delicious)! My only regret is not getting a baby sitter so we could enjoy the ambiance and try the appys and desserts. Can’t wait for our next date night to truly experience this wonderful place!

The food at this establishment was terrific, however the dining experience was odd. A reservation was made an hour and a half before our meal, the establishment then called our number several times prior to arrival without explanation? They do not accept credit or debit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand. The bread prior to our meal was fresh, not warm or offered with olive oil and balsamic. There was one other table being served while we were there, but still they managed to serve us the wrong order. We were not offered refills on our beverages or checked on after receiving or food until we were 3/4 through. We had dined here prior to Covid and had a pleasant experiences, now disappointing. Stick with take out.
