I wanted to try a new place in Saratoga for lunch. Searched on google maps and found Scallions. Seeing their pictures of dinner plates I wanted to try them out. Unfortunately when I got there they only were offering their lunch menu with more lighter options. Still very hungry I stuck around. I’m so happy I did because I had one of the best salads. It was the “Citrus Duck Salad”. It had a great combination of flavors and the duck was cooked perfectly. The service itself was amazing as well. They almost had a full house and the waitstaff were very quick and polite. I would definitely come back and next time try their dinner menu.

Tonight my daughters treated me to a retirement dinner, I picked this restaurant because of the choices they offered, I was delighted with my choice. I very much appreciated the variety offered, indications of which menu items were gluten free, the portions were very satisfying, an everything was delicious. My whole family thanks the staff who were all very kind, professional and attentive.

Overall the food was good. We ordered vegan items, in my opinion, the dishes are a bit overpriced as the portions were small. The falafel could be bigger pieces. The fried green tomato was worthy. The wild mushroom dish was plain as was the presentation. As one who forages for wild mushrooms, I expected more. The fritter dish was very flavorful yet the fritters themselves were slightly dry. I can see people going for the ambiance. Before being seated, we were pretty much ignored as service was slow at the door. Table service was good.

We stopped in on a whim for a late lunch. The place has a folk art kitchy vibe. Out waitress was attentive. Hubby got the fall salad & i got the crab cakes and greens. We shared a warm baguette. Everything was delicious. They have a cocktail menu, full bar & canned beers. Prices are reasonable. We perused the dinner menu & we will venture back.

8/13/25- Updating to include our lunch visit. Wife once again had the Duck salad and it was excellent. I had the Ahi Tuna salad and it was fresh and delicious. This restaurant is consistent, friendly, and inviting and we look forward to our next visit very soon.
Recently we had dinner here and everything was delicious. I enjoyed the Shrimp and Fennel salad, wife had the Duck salad. There were many items on the menu we could have picked and we certainly will make a return visit. Fresh food, nice decor, and good service.

This is a wonderful place if looking for vegetarian choices. The salads are great and the staff is welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the restaurant gets lots of natural light. My friend Melissa took me there and I hope to visit again whenever I am in Saratoga Springs.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful customer service! They have indoor and outdoor seating available, and they take orders to go. They have very reasonable prices and a pretty decent menu. The establishment is very clean and sanitary as well as cozy and quaint. I will be back.

Classic Saratoga restaurant with fine food and even better service.
The mushroom linguine was partially tasty as was the surf and turf.
The appetizers were good as well particularly the Polenta and Mushrooms. Our waitress Paris was warm, personable and made us feel at home.
I have to say that I almost walked out before we even ordered when I saw they had some ill-advised, unholy concoction on the menu called “Cheese steak egg rolls”
Glad I stayed, but please, for God’s sake, take that off your menu.
