Scalini Fedeli provided the most beautiful and special dining experience for my mother and my daughter. The manager, Dan, went out of his way to make their celebration most memorable and special. Dan even made sure that the server brought a gelato course between dinner and dessert, which they loved.
My daughter said it was the finest dining experience of her life; my mother raved about the ambience, the service, and the food. Of special note was the soft egg yolk raviolo, the truffle ravioli, the crispy banana tart, and the mascarpone and ricotta torte. Each dish was elegantly presented and delectable.
They both got the red snapper. In hindsight, they wish they had ordered different entrées so that they could have experienced even more of the exquisite cuisine. They will do this next time, because we will all return again and again for special occasions.
Thank you for taking care of two beautiful people who deserved this most delightful experience. Thank you to each and every person who helped to make this an A+ night for the ladies. Scalini Fedeli, thank you!!

I have nothing negative to say about Scalini Fedeli — it is one of my family’s all time favorite restaurants! We’ve dined during holidays, special occasions, a random Thursday evening and the service is always impeccable and the food outstanding. The pre-fixed menu offers of variety with daily specials and we also love the drinks (especially their espresso martinis!!)

Great food, ambience. Service was welcoming but at the end it took a bit too long to get our bill. The fixed dinner menu was delicious and reminded me of a formal sit down wedding with a palate cleanser sorbet in between. It was a real treat and I enjoyed everything that was served, especially the salmon and chocolate soufflé.

Wow…amazing meal in a place unassuming from the outside but enchanting on the inside. Top notch exquisite service…truly…the food was absolutely divine. Silverware changes at each course. Cooked and perfectly presented. Ravioli with egg yolk was to die for… OMG.

I had made a reservation at Il Mondo Vecchio online on 12/20 for NYE 12/31. I received a message on 12/31 telling me my reservation was canceled. This was my only plan for NYE. I called the restaurant in a panic and they were unable to accommodate me. Marco at Il Mondo Vecchio went above and beyond and made accommodations for my party at Scalini Fedeli. Dan the manager gave me a call from his personal cell phone and told

One of the best meals NJ has to offer. I have been to the Tribeca location a handful of times and this location is just as good. It is also about $60 cheaper for the prefix so if you are trying to fine dine on a budget you can’t beat the $100 price. Smoked tuna, shrimp, pasta, salad, sorbet, porkchop, cheesecake for $100. All the food was perfect, as you can see from my photos. The restaurant itself is also very beautiful. I would highly recommend it.

Incredible food, could not believe the dining room wasn’t full. Andreas was our waiter and very kind and attentive! He recommended the banana tart for dessert and he was not wrong, it was amazing. The egg yolk ravioli and the butternut agnolotti were outstanding. Coming from DC, this was outstanding value for price. They helped us have a great anniversary!

Amazing Italian fine dining. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, the service was on point, it was an all around great experience. I had the pappardelle with ragu as a primi, and the veal chop milanese as a secundi. Both were outstanding. The house the restaurant is located in is filled with charm and decorated in a warm and inviting way. Cant wait to go back.
