They have done a great job in refurbishing the place – increased the dining area and added a bar section. The wood-fired ovens in the front are a nice touch. The bar carries a nice selection of draft beer. The pizza needs some help. For a wood-fired pizza I was disappointed: the dough needs to rise more, they need to make better use of the oven and char the pizza (it may not be hot enough as the toppings were not thoroughly cooked as you can see in the pictures) The dough could use olive oil and salt as well. I am sure they will get the recipe down, but for now the pizza is just ordinary.

Great pizza! Wish the atmosphere was a bit better.
We had the Signature salad and shrimp scampi pizza. The salad was fresh, wish they served dressing on the side. It was lightly dressed with was perfect to me but I believe most people like more dressing. Pizza was delicious. Perfect crispy crust. Ingredients we’re perfectly balanced and portioned. Every bite was yummy. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu.
The only gripe and I guess a small one; its easily fixed is the music they played. Not energetic. It was music from the 60s and kind of slow. Only you, put your head on my shoulder, Sh-boom… Not what I want to be listening to eating delicious pizza and drinking beer.

Scalia’s is one of the better pizza and Italian restaurants in the area. However, the prices for quality of the food do not match. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings and the margarita pizza. 6 wings cost nearly $8 and the pizza was $14. The quality of the food was decent, and underwhelming – especially at the price.

Good food but not much variety outside pizza. They cooked their proteins well and had great flavors. The lack of variety in appetizers was disappointing, and there was no apparent option for white sauces on any pastas. However the servers were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I am unsure if I would go back, but it was not an unpleasant experience.

As Nutmeggers it’s hard for us to find any pizza outside of New Haven worth writing about. Rest assured, this pizza is worth it. It’s New Haven pizza…thin crust, not greasy, and cooked to perfection. Just as good as Pepe’s or Modern. Certainly the best pizza we’ve had in the Deerfield Valley and North of home. The wings were amazing! We wish they had more flavors but they were great. Homemade bread was fantastic, too. We have a place here in Southern Vermont so you can bet we will be back!! Thank you.

Was told one pizza and a cheesecake would take 35 minutes to pick up. Arrived and was told their card machine wasn’t working. Left to get money from an atm. Came back to wait another 20 minutes for them to finally being to cook our pizza. While waiting I saw many other customers use their credit cards just fine. Cheesecake also sat out entire time while waiting so it was warm. Pizza isn’t even that great. Sauce tastes like it is watered down.

Went on a packed night with my wife, was a long wait for a table so ended up sitting at the bar (which is perfectly fine by me). Took about 40 mins for my pizza to come which didnt suprise me due to the amount of people in there. Not only was my food amazing but we were offered free cocktails due to the “long” wait…. it was only 40 minutes! Will deffinitly go back, and the staff was nothing but super nice!

After a long day of skiing, Scalia’s hit the spot! The pizzas were awesome and the service was fast and personable. We would absolutely go back!

The pizza is just ok. It’s not good, and it’s too small. $70 for four medium sized pizzas? I get it’s a seasonal town, but it’s still pizza. Either charge the same and make better pizza, or charge the right number for sub par quality. Photos to follow as evidence.
