A must stop in Charlottesville! I stopped and picked up an assortment of donuts for Thanksgiving and they were such a hit with my family in town visiting! Safe to say these didn’t last very long lol. The standouts are definitely the chocolate glazed, the Cardy B, and the cinnamon swirl/knots! I’m gluten free so unfortunately I couldn’t have any donuts but I did have the gluten free buckwheat cookie and WOW! You’d never guess that’s gluten free, one of the best GF cookies I’d ever had. I really hope they start making GF donuts in the future!

Like Marie Bette, expect quality craft coffees and beverages to be excellent. I’m not a huge doughnut fan but the apple fritter is incredible. I’ve found the staff to be very kind and engaging. Frankly, the interactions with staff is what prompted my review.

Tasty donuts but that means there’s typically a line and a wait time of 5-10 minutes. I’d like to see the store invest in a second checkout iPad to help with orders and payment. Parking is tight and limited but not impossible. Very tiny storefront, so it can feel a bit crowded. Take your donut somewhere else for a quieter, more relaxed morning atmosphere.

Such real authentic dough used in the delicious fritter and twisted sweet roll. You could taste the yeast and texture so good!! Real homemade not a mix.
Worth. Stop.

Sbroccos is amazing! Gourmet apple fritters, honey buns, regular glazed, crumb cake, cookies, changing special donuts, and more. While all of what I just listed might sound like an ordinary donut shop offering, this is the best apple fritter, honey bun, cooki, etc you will ever have. The dough is amazing, the glazes are specific to each donut and so well made. They also have coffee, lattes, currently have a yummy mulled cider. They can do decaf lattes for those interested. This is worth a detour off the highway if you are passing through. Every time I have come in the staff have all promptly taken my order. I can be out the door with a box of donuts and a latte in 5 minutes or less.

My go to place in cville for donuts. The cream filled is a must! BUT, be sure to check IG for the specials (e.g. the strawberry dusted matcha glazed donut in the photo), and to make sure they haven’t sold out already before closing. Coffee is alright.

I was visiting a friend and we went opening weekend to Sbrocco’s. Totally worth waiting the 15 min in line (again, it was opening weekend). I am slightly embarrassed to say I ordered half a dozen to go, and ate one of the cinnamon bun donuts there (they have a little long bar with some chairs), I couldn’t help myself and had another donut on my drive back to Maryland. Then continued to not share the rest of the half dozen throughout the week. So so good! Can’t wait to go back.

I came close to close and the apple fritter still tasted like it was freshly made. Some of the best chai I’ve ever had and the workers were so kind to all the customers. Will be back if I’m in Cville!

The donuts looked good the cinnamon sugar was good and fluffy but the chocolate glaze with sprinkles on top was very dry and had a funny taste, the chai tea just tasted like cinnamon and oat milk. And the latte tasted like black coffee. If we were to try again we would ask for something like regular tea. But very friendly staff and made sure to double check for allergies when asked and loved we could change the milk to oat.

For someone who is not a donut person, this place is great. They often do weekly or monthly specials, have alternate styles like sour cream donuts, and the shop has a great, sunny atmosphere. Big points for the peach fritters, which are using local peaches at peak harvest!
