We stopped into Sbarro and ordered two pepperoni strombolis. At first glance, they didn’t look too appealing, almost like they’d been sitting around since the morning. Once we bit in, they actually tasted better than they looked, but they were still on the greasy side and had about half the amount of pepperoni than we’re used to in these strombolis. On the plus side, service was good, and the cashier was very polite and friendly. Overall, tasty enough, but not quite what we were hoping for.

My husband and I put in an online order for a few items. However hours before we had walked by the establishment we got to encounter Marilu who was just so wholesome that I knew where we were gonna be getting my pizza craving later. Once we put in the online order it was a bit of a wait but considering it was dinner rush time it wasn’t that long at all. While waiting for our order we witnessed even more of Marilu’s professional level of hospitality to every customer she helped along with but not limited to engaging pretty much every person that walked by. Also while making sure the food line was clean and presentable.

They specializes in New York–style pizza sold by the slice, strombolis, breadsticks, salads and baked ziti.
We came for a bite after a show at the New Orleans Hotel. They were unstaffed at the time and so customer service was super slow. Some staff could have been at lunch. They took one of our orders, put the stromboli in oven and walked away. No one was around to take orders for about 10 minutes and no acknowledgment for customers waiting to put orders in.
We got the Jalapeño Cheese Stromboli and it was super spicy. Almost too spicy if you can’t do extreme spice. They looked golden brown and had a good amount of filling.
They also do not allow refills for soda unless it was a large, which they did not explain when paying for our order. So, we had to buy another drink.

$20.99 plus tax for two reheated pieces of old pizza. Includes a medium drink but you can’t get refills on it unless you pay an extra dollar to get a large drink. The slices are not XL, barely bigger than a large anywhere else. The quality was below average. Overall this is a rip off and a waste of time. Used to be good and now just a money grubbing corporation. You’ve lost my business which you’ve had since the 90s because of this. Do better.

I normally eat here every time I come to town and stay at
The Orleans. The 2 guys working there had the worst customer service skills I have experienced in quite some time. They were fine with the lady that came up right behind me. Praying for the
disdain some people have for other people that don’t look like them.

This has become a bit of a tradition for me. Being next to the poker room at Orleans, I always grab a slice when I am here to play poker. No complaints.

It was supposed to be an “authentic” jumbo NY slice of pizza. It was the farthest thing from it. The pizza slice was really small, cold, and tasted like cardboard. The pizza fell apart when I picked it up, like it was old…. For $50 for 2 small slices of pizza, a small Stromboli, and 2 small sodas, i expected a lot more. I could have fed my whole family with far better quality at the local pizza place. Please put out better product, or at least give me the “jumbo” size advertised on your menu.

Nasty reheated pizza, stuck to a sheet of waxed paper, I should know better!
Payment process is also so slow, my slice is getting cold! I’ve got to stop eating at Sbarro and so should you!

Very dirty, the counter was covered in soda and wrappers. It would make sense that the clerks would clean or restock the items. Instead they were rude when we pointed it out. Also given a diet drink. We tried telling the clerk it was diet but she didn’t understand English and kept telling us we had to pay for another drink refill, when we simply wanted our drinks not diet. lol clearly people hate their job here, but I’m on a date and you really can’t ruin my day. Nice try. I’d suggest the fudruckers next door. They seem a lot friendlier and cleaner.
