A few months ago, the payment processors malfunctioned when I tried to pay for my food. Keep in mind that this was not the first time that the payment processors malfunctioned. I kindly asked the cashier if he could move to another front counter, but he said that he couldn’t for some reason. I wondered why there was no flexibility in regard to problem solving by the curly hair individual.
He was quite condescending and rude when he interacted with me in general, lacking in customer service. Since he couldn’t go to the other counter, I handed him over the cash so he could count it. But here’s the catch: he was passive aggressive when I gave him the cash. I couldn’t understand the reason behind it. He lacked patience when I brought out my wallet so I could count how many dollar bills I had to pay for my food.
He told me that I had to count it for him. Excuse me, sir, isn’t that your role that you signed up for which is to work as a cashier? It doesn’t make sense to me at all. I had no problems until now when it came to handing over money to the cashier to ensure I wasn’t overspending. The reason why he acted that way was because he made an excuse that the “camera wouldn’t catch my money” or something along the line that I nearly forgot line by line. What’s worse was that he belittled my money counting skills. Again, this is supposed to be your role, sir.
I will not be returning to this area to order food. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

The guy with the curly hair got upset when I asked for hot honey. Charged me 25c extra for it and is clearly agitated (I said please). This guy then floods my pizza with honey to the point where I can’t eat it. I do not appreciate this. I just took a midterm and wanted a slice as my reward.
I don’t even want a refund I’d rather use that time to leave a review. What’s up with the attitude here? Pretty frequent from all the workers. Plus the food quality isn’t even that good.
I recommend that Cal State LA replaces this establishment with a healthier alternative anyways

Fire the dude in red with curly hair he’s holding my girl back, dude just stands there and doesn’t ask if the customers want sides, the girl in the front is doing everything for serving drinks and sides cashiering, she needs a raise!!!! The roasted potatoes were hard to chew didn’t even taste like roasted potatoes

Was really hungry and got this Mac and cheese. It was watery and unedible! Paid $20 for 2 slices of pizza a drink and this. Never again. Honestly how could you even sell this?

Always the same bald head guy at the counter. Always angry and annoyed when you try to order anything. Terrible attitude and can barely speak English. Food is edible. Place is nice.

To be honest, the food is cafeteria quality. When I order a salad, the lettuce always seems a bit chewy, like they bought it from the 99 Cent Only store. I’m sure they’re not but it sure tastes like it.
At least they’re generous with the marinara sauce but sometimes they forget to give me my free bread stick with my combo. The staff is friendly, which is the ONLY reason I give them any business but guys, please figure out how to keep the salad bar fresher. Please. For the $8 I pay for a salad, one would expect it to be better quality than Jack in the Box, but it’s not.
Anyway. I’ll revise this to reflect the changes if you (Sbarro) even care.
Update: Nothing has changed and from the business and stock reports, this chain is headed downhill fast. I can easily see why. My suggestion is to spend your money elsewhere. For the record, this isn’t the only Sbarro location with low quality food…I’ve been to 3 locations since just to see for myself, and they’re all bad. You’re better off just skipping lunch and save your appetite for something worth the $8+ you’d spend for a measily amount of low quality food.

It’s on campus so you know it’s expensive to a broke college student. The foods great when they aren’t busy, if they aren’t busy then you’re gonna get hot food and great service. the place is moderately clean but brings some wipes cuz the tables are a little dirty sometimes. I recommenced the combo Stromboli only because I like to eat the Stromboli, not because it was a great deal.

the tables were dirty, and the staff was not that busy 3 people in line, get it together! the cheese cake was creamy but had a nasty after taste with every bite, the spaghetti had no flavor it tasted like watered noodles.other then that it was palatable.
