I’ve been a loyal customer here for quite some time and have consistently tipped generously because I believed the staff providing the service were receiving those tips. I recently learned that the manager distributes tips at his own discretion — and despite the many times I’ve dined here and left gratuity, I have never once been served by the manager benefiting from those tips.
In a world where every dollar matters, especially to service staff, it’s extremely disappointing to find out that the people smiling, hustling, and providing prompt, excellent service may not be directly receiving what customers intend for them.
The staff here continue to show up with professionalism and great attitudes, regardless. They deserve better than a system that lacks transparency and fairness. This practice undermines trust — and for me, that’s the most concerning part.

Stopped by Sbarro at Arizona Mills Mall and honestly walked away pretty satisfied overall . The pizza was good—hot, fresh, and exactly what you want when you’re craving classic mall pizza. The crust had a nice bite to it and didn’t feel dry or overcooked, which is always a win .
Now let’s talk about the breadsticks because those were absolutely phenomenal —soft on the inside, perfectly baked on the outside, and easily the highlight of the meal. I’d come back just for those alone.
The service was decent, not bad by any means, just middle-of-the-road. They got the job done, everything came out correctly, and the staff was polite . Nothing over the top, but no complaints either.
Also, big shoutout to the raspberry tea —refreshing and a great pairing with the food. Overall, solid food, good value, and a reliable stop when you’re at the mall. Definitely worth checking out if you’re already there

The gentleman serving the food was as great as the first time I ate here. Attentive, clear and helpful even.
However, this is the second time the African American lady has made my son and I feel like an inconvenience. I’m honestly not surprised there are reviews here about her. She got into an “above it all” attitude and started taking another person’s order right in my face as my food was waiting right next to her. I asked if we could just get our food so we could go and she hands it to me without even look at me and drops our stromboli. I don’t know why she works in a service industry if she doesn’t like people. She needs a button pushing job behind closed doors. Please get rid of her so we can enjoy coming here. The food is decent enough, your employees should at least be decent.

I was a little nervous cause it was my first time but Dalila was very helpful and I got my order quickly. Had a cheese slice and a Pepsi (they were out of Dr Pepper ) and the pizza was amazing. 10/10!!

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. If I could give zero stars, I would. The African American woman working the counter had a disgustingly bad attitude, it genuinely seemed like she was upset just for having to do her job.
My husband and I came in with our kids to grab some pizza. My husband was ordering for himself and the kids since I had gotten something else to eat, but the entire interaction was rushed and unpleasant. Her tone was rude from the start. When my husband politely asked if he could get marinara sauce on his ziti pasta, she cut him off mid-sentence and snapped, “ANYTHING else?” completely uncalled for. She then slammed the pizzas and pasta onto the counter, and when we pointed out that one pizza was missing, she threw it onto the warmer, boxed it once it was ready, and slammed it back down again. To make things worse, while we were sitting down eating, she walked by and gave me the nastiest death glare I’ve ever gotten. If you hate interacting with customers that much, maybe this isn’t the right job. There’s no excuse/reason for being rude and disrespectful to paying customers who have done nothing wrong. I genuinely don’t understand how someone with such behavior is still employed, management needs to address this asap, seeing as I’m not the first person to leave a review about her disgusting attitude.

The woman that works in the front register during the day African American women she was very rude rushed had very bad experience not happy. I was also having a good day up until we ordered our food my husband was cut off and from the looks of it she had a nasty attitude maybe having to work or has personal issues but I was very upset. With my own eyes I saw her treating the next costumer the same way…I really hope something is done seeing she still has her job after reading a similar comment to mine. Looks bad for business and at least hire someone who wants to work and has a smile.

Store needs to be shut down. Black lady manager who nsme appears to be Kanisha, her attitude is really bad and it’s very embarrassing when I’m just trying to order for my kids, will be finding corporate number and let them know about their employees. We had a hankering for pizza and found Sbarro in the Tempe Mall. The staff we very friendly and helpful. The Stromboli and Supreme pizza were “eye-rolling” good. It tasted like the Stromboli had a pretzel crust -yum.
And who could resist ice cold fountain Pepsi?
Very much enjoyed watching the indoor Carousel .
