Ordered a pizza online. Order went through and said to pick it up at 7:30. I got there and there was a sign that says it closed at 5 that day for some random reason. The clerk at the gas register said I would have to try contacting online. Guess I’ll go in tomorrow to try and get my pizza or money back.
Update: Went there today, showed my confirmation email, and the manager even confirmed that they were closed due to being short staffed. I asked if I could get my pizza, and she told me no. She said she had no record of my pizza being ordered. I looked at my order that I made through Sbarro online, and it said my pizza order had gone through and I even pulled up my bank account showing that I was charged for the pizza Sunday night. She still refused to make me a pizza. Instead, said I needed to sent an email to corporate. I did. Will update. I have nothing else to do, and even though it is just $26.05, it is the principle of the matter.
Went there for some drinks and their food area smelled exceptionally good today. I ordered their stromboli, and it was tasteless and tough like cardboard. The center was room temperature which is concerning because they leave these out on display for several hours. If the center was room temperature, they aren’t keeping these hot while on display which would allow bacteria to grow, especially since they make them at the beginning of the day, many hours would have passed. I hope I don’t get sick, but only time will tell.
