This review is for the Sbarro location at the Erie, PA mall.
I placed and paid for a whole 24-inch pepperoni stromboli. The product I received (see photo) was not a whole stromboli, but rather five mismatched individual pieces, including burnt items and two pieces containing sausage, which were not part of the order and are not consumed by my family.
This appears to be a collection of leftover, unsold items that were reheated and overcooked, rather than a freshly prepared product matching the order. This is the second occurrence of receiving burnt stromboli from this location; the first time, no complaint was made.
After contacting the store, I was informed that a 20% discount had been applied as compensation. This discount was not disclosed at the time of purchase, and there was no explanation or acknowledgment of the incorrect and poor-quality food provided. I only discovered this upon reviewing the receipt at home.
Applying an undisclosed partial discount does not resolve the core issues of order accuracy, food quality, and transparency. Providing incorrect, visibly burnt food—without disclosure or customer consent—represents a serious failure in basic service standards.
This experience reflects a lack of quality control and accountability. Based on repeated issues, I will not return to this location and cannot recommend it.

Mouthgasm central. This place has no right being this good and being in a mall. The staff are nice as well. Highly recommend getting the pepperoni sausage and bacon Stromboli, the breadsticks, and the NY style pizza. Add 2 cups of their ranch dressing in as well for 1 dollar, and you’ll love it.

The pasta is cooked till it’s complete mush. I can’t even feed it to my client because she choked on it because it just fell apart before she could chew it herself. It’s a choking hazard for people who have sensory issues. The pizza and calzones are great but stay away from the pasta!

I ordered online. The 1st time it said there was an error on their end and it said to try again. So I did. We were charged for 2 Pizzas,but only received 1. My husband showed an employee at Sbarro’s our confirmation messages/email. Proving that there were 2 pizzas/2 orders. We were informed by the employee that they just make pizzas. And we’d have to talk to our bank. Very disappointed.

My favorite pizza place but this past Saturday at 6:00 they had half of a cheese pizza, a specialty pizza (nothing I’ve seen before) and a few Strombolis and not the Spinach ones and that was it!!! I wanted some Strombolis and three pieces of pepperoni pizza none of which they offered. When I asked if this was all they offered I was told “yup”. What happened to my favorite pizza place?

Most days the pizza is good. But sometimes they put way too much seasoning on the pizzas and you can’t even eat them they taste terrible sometimes. I’ve always liked their pizza but I got some for a party and no one at the party even wanted to eat it because there was far far too much seasoning on it like literally it was caked in it and I spent a lot of money on these pizzas wasn’t too happy.

menu says 2 1 topping pizzas for 28.99. never ever once was told pepperoni dosent count as a topping go to pay and they tell me pepperoni is not a topping. been there multiple times before with same order and never had a issue… not coming back until y’all fix that issue your employees have saying pepperoni isnt a topping and automatically comes with it. they should have said that when i was placing the order and saved me an hour worth of nonsense hassle… staff was also rude with us as well.

I would not recommend. I ordered 2 stromboli combos and a 2 slice combo, which I told 2 people my order. They said that they didn’t have plain cheese and I asked if I wait for it. He said yes go wait over by the register. The guy at the register asked me if I ordered. I told him yes and he took my order and I paid. Tyler R then asked me to come back and asked what I wanted and told him I already ordered and paid. He then proceeded to tell the cashier he did it wrong and wasn’t supposed to ring me out till after they gave me the order. He then proceeded to ask me what all I ordered even though I had already told them. So I repeated it to him. I said we ordered the combo with the salad. He was getting an attitude at this point and asked what kind of salad I wanted. I said house salad and he repeated what kind of salad. I said the house salad, the one that’s not Ceasar. When I got the order, the stromboli was burnt, and we were given a Ceasar salad. My wife went back up to ask about the salad. Well, they explained that they had these 3 different salads but not a house salad, which Tyler could have just explained before being rude about it.
