The sushi was great and the service was amazing. Very affordable and approachable. I’m excited to come back into town and try the ramen!

Is it a Michelin star restaurant? No. But as far as small Japanese restaurants go in rural areas, this was a treasure to find. Everything was spectacular, fresh, and beautiful. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff were very friendly, and the sushi was fantastic. I have no idea how this place has bad reviews at all, because we will definitely drive 40 minutes to eat here rather than have any sushi in Baker. Can’t wait to return! Sorry guys, no Instagram worthy photos we were enjoying it before I took a photo

I was torn between ordering the spicy ramen (level 4) and the black garlic with garlic tonkotsu. My server gave me the tonkotsu made spicy level 4. Best of both worlds. Was going to get second serving of noodles but ordered a salmon roll instead.
Good Walmart parking for motorhomes.

It’s pretty weird when your roll feels fresh from the outside but nori inside is wet and super chewy. Not too bad but pretty far from the best. My husband enjoyed his teriyaki beef. Miso soup was also good.
The waitress was super nice.

This is the best sushi in the greater eastern Oregon area. Good quality and variety.

We love the chicken ramen and sushi we have tried. The milk and Thai tea is wonderful as well.

We began with 2 fresh spring rolls and were very disappointed. The rolls were a chunk of iceberg lettuce with a couple shrimp stuffed in and a couple of noodles. They were serviced with some kind of soy sauce and when we asked for the peanut sauce that was listed on the menu they said they didn’t have any. Wouldn’t order again. This was followed by miso soup that was very bland. I’ve had better instant miso. My husband had the sushi B and he thought it was flavorful and a good deal for the price. I on the other hand had the sashimi entree and found it to be a disappointment. It was more expensive than the sushi my husband had with smaller pieces, no rice on the side and no eye appeal. On top of this, the service was poor. Our server was too busy texting on his phone to be available. Overall, I personally wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t plan to return!! Sushi B = 3 stars, Sashimi Entree = 2 stars, spring Rolls = 2 stars, miso soup = 2 stars.

I had the Rocky salmon for the first time. And it was absolutely incredible. The lemon on top was just amazing.
I have eaten here 3 or 4 times and every single time, the fish has always been super fresh. 🙂

This pseudo-Japanese setting gives it a cozy ambience, and the waitress is courteous. The Miso is , and the was better than Asian Fusion which the octopus was favorite that I had tried in that sushi joint; also I loved the fried banana that has drizzled on it, which I’m going to come back to that joint again.
