Ordered surf and turf chips. Even asked the guy at the register if I was able to do so since I didn’t see the item on the menu. He stated it was part of the menu.. if you ask me I don’t see any SURF in my chips.
Más aparte el restaurante estaba solo. No era como si no me escucho. Me lo reitero cuando tomo mi orden.

An awesome establishment I’ve been coming to for the last few years. Their burritos seem to keep getting bigger while most places decrease in size. Pictured is of a standard bean and cheese burrito with no additions.
I weighed it on my trusty kitchen scale and this baby stats in at…
Weight: 2 pounds 3 ounces
Length: 10 inches
Girth: 4 inches
You really can’t get this weight and quality anywhere else in the area from my experience. Although El Bronco in Oceanside is close to this caliber of quality, portion size and salsa epicness.
It still doesn’t match Sayulitas.
*Side notes:
It gets a bit crowded especially at certain time like dinner. But it’s 100% worth it.

Amazing place for burritos. They are very big burritos, that’s why it’s more expensive here. You can order a burrito and split it and you would likely eat to satisfaction and be full. If you get your own burrito, you’ll probably have leftovers for later. The salsa bar is really tasty with five kinds. They also have the 50 dollar Mecca burrito which is a monster, it’s very big and can feed a small family. I can’t wait to go back to enjoy another amazing burrito!! And of course, I had the fish burrito and it was very tasty.

I ordered the same thing every time I come here. I’ve been coming here for years and been noticing decline and inconsistency in the California burrito I get. Today was the absolute worst. I ordered two California burritos with no pico and added guacamole which came out to just under $40, which is normally a great deal for the amount of food you get. Today I get my food home and one of the burritos has no guacamole and the other burrito has guacamole, but is stuffed with pico de gallo. My daughter and I never get pico because we are allergic to tomatoes. The burrito was ice cold and super soggy. this was the worst ever, and I will never Go there again. It saddens me because I’ve been eating there for years

The burritos a bigger then average yes as you see in picture. The breakfast burrito i chose was chorizo everything but the chorizo was great nothing to do with flavor just hardly had any meat I understand the size of the burrito but more felt like it was just flavored more then having chorizo mest in it more like pasty chorizo they added then use bits of actual longaniza meat in Burritos not saying they do just the portion of meat ration wasnt great compared to potatoes and eggs. My point is id recommend a different breakfast burrito instead of chorizo it does get oily at the bottom just like any other oily meat. I had asked forbit because I thought it was going to be meaty and have plenty of the longaniza chorizo meat. The flavor is there thoigh the burritos tortilla is flavorful

I’ve eaten from Sayulitas a few times now and I still haven’t really come to a conclusion on how I feel about it. While everything I’ve tried so far has been okay, none of them have really stood out either.
The tacos are really basic but good. I think I’d probably enjoy them more if they came dressed in onions and cilantro. I’m sure you can add that as an option; I didn’t know it would just come with meat and guacamole sauce.
The rolled tacos (taquitos?) are pretty good. It comes covered in the guac sauce, sour cream, and cheese.
I think I’ll have to try one of their burritos next. I think there is potential here, I could just be missing out on the fire items.
No thoughts on service or ambiance as it has always been picked up for me. Price point is pretty reasonable.

Not gunna lie or beat around the bush I give it a 10/10 on quantity , 8/10 on flavor (ive had better but it keeps you coming back still) 10/10 on service (minus a few times they forgot my carrots in the bag when I placed a togo order) will always return

Best value burritos. Big and overflowing. Come with an appetite or plan on sharing because these things are bigger than a baby. Fresh salsa bar with amazing flavor. I usually buy a 8 oz salsa jalapeño to-go so I have some for the week.
Some people say they are “pricey” but you get a massive portion and great quality. So the value is there. I’d rather go here and spend $15+ on an awesome burrito than $10 on a mediocre one.

I was really disappointed with my recent experience at Saulitas in San Marcos. I was there on a DoorDash delivery, picking up a simple order of five rolled tacos—no extra toppings—so it should have been quick and easy. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all—just a couple people dining. I waited for about 10 minutes with no communication from the cashier. I saw her preparing an order, realized it was mine, but she just set it on the counter with zero acknowledgment—no apology, no courtesy, nothing. I had to thank her myself, and she just gave me a rude look. I called to speak to a manager, but was told the manager wouldn’t be in until tomorrow. The cashier, Giselle, didn’t seem to care at all. I hope they improve their customer service because this was a huge letdown.

I’ve been wanting to visit this location for several years after seeing it on instagram and tik tok. The sound of bacon wrapped burritos had me craving this place. I was so disappointed on the flavor of the Carne asada. It was so blan. The salsa had good flavor. The bacon had a burnt flavor so I can’t say I enjoyed this burrito even tho it was massive. I ended up throwing more than half away. My daughter got the hot cheetos Carne asada fries and she barely touched hers also. She was so mad about the soda also. The soda taste flat and syrup was so light it tasted like flat water!
