Sayulita – Hemet (Next to Vallarta Market)
I really enjoyed the food at Sayulita, right next to Vallarta Market in Hemet. The fish tacos are delicious — the first time I ordered them, they came with white tortillas, which I loved. The second time, they used yellow corn tortillas, which I didn’t like as much, but the flavor was still great.
The ceviche is fresh, and the salsas aren’t too spicy but still very tasty. It would be a good idea to offer a wider variety of salsas, maybe including popular commercial ones like Cholula or spicier Mexican-style seafood sauces to give customers more options.
They also serve alcoholic drinks, have a full bar, and TVs to watch sports, which creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
The only downside is that there’s only one register to order food and drinks, so the line can move slowly, especially when people are deciding what to get. It would be great if they could add a second register or cashier to speed up the process. We were told that you can also sit at the bar and possibly get faster service there.
The staff is very friendly, and they mentioned they’re currently going through training to improve their service, which shows they care about the customer experience.
Overall, it’s a great spot for seafood and hanging out. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Kitchen closes at 8:30PM, though bar serves until 10PM.

Definitely room for improvement.
Long wait, but that’s expected since it just opened.
Layout and atmosphere are really good and good music.
Bar Food is ok, nothing jaw-dropping. Personally, I didn’t find it worth the price, even for it being bar food.
Service is back and forth, checked on frequently, but food items were missing from what was ordered, and drinks were forgotten multiple times.
Hopefully, next time, after being open for a little while, improvements will be made because it does have a lot of potential.

Waited over 45 minutes for wings.
When they arrived they were the wrong flavor and they were cold!
I figured a mistake was made, let’s give them one more chance.
Second time around my wings never arrived and on top of it they were trying to charge me for them.
Management should get a hold of this place before it goes down….
Will not recommend anyone to go there ever.

Terrible service, we got to the bar at 640, had to wait because Alisa was having problems ringing up a client. TWENTY TWO MINUTES later, she walks to the other end of bar to tell us , sorry its no longer Happy Hour. If i come by when she is working her shift, I will turn around and walk out.

Got street tacos, that were a bit greasy. Also got the bean dip with chips, the beans needed more salt. No s&p on the table. Server never checked in on us. No utensils , I guess we could’ve asked. You are allowed to bring in food from the inside food hot deli inside the market. Love the market , love the food too.

We’ve been here twice & both times the service has been slow. We had to wave them down to come to our table to reorder drinks. I saw other people going up to the bar top requesting items & service while already having food at their table, then going back to their table to sit & wait. The second time we went the server came to our table, put the menus down & walked away….didn’t even greet us. She went back behind the bar & was just standing there chatting with the manager. This is actually a cool spot as they have a full bar, tvs & good bar food but the service needs more attention.

Went there 4/30/25 to celebrate my 10 year Anniversary with my wife. It was our first time there.
The staff working that day were phenomenal! Friendly, helpful and even funny. The food didn’t take to long and was great. Their beer selection was very solid AND we did shots of Gran Corralejo which was a great end to the night. Thank you all! We will be back
