10/10 from the service (Vicky was wonderful!) to the atmosphere, cocktails and food. Absolutely love it here. The queso is addicting, birria quesadillas are a must try app, great selection of tacos and fajitas..definitely trying an entree next time! And don’t skip out on the churros

This place is worth the wait and the trip. I have always seen a line out the door and wondered why and I found out. I will always wait in line to come here. The waitress and staff was great. It was clean and comfortable and the food is AMAZING.

Great place and very hard to get a table. Apps were great but my tacos were just ok. A little over stuffed and my taco shells were bland. Corn on the cob was soggy but my drinks were great quesadilla was amazing and so were the taquitos

What a vibe! Well worth the 45 minute wait. The drinks were cold and the food phenomenal. We started out with the chips and guacamole which was top tier. We ordered a bunch of tacos which combined amazing flavors. I would recommend this place to everyone!

It’s the best Mexican restaurant in CT. The food is elevated and inventive. Served in a charming rustic environment. Good management too. They really care about your experience.

It will get noisy when it’s full and people will be lined up at the door before they even open. Very annoying to see but thats an indicator of how good it is.

A lot of garbage Mexican food on the East Coast. This will restore your faith in it.

Sayulita Mexican is a dynamic experience both good and challenging. Their food experience is top notch, with its vibrant Mexicali-style cuisine (and I was really hoping it was just hype). The menu showcases high-quality, fresh ingredients that elevate every dish, from the flavorful tacos to the rich, savory enchiladas. Their juicy, well-balanced cocktails are a standout, especially the unique margaritas that offer a refreshing twist on the classic drink. While the food and drinks are top-notch, the wait times can be painfully long, given the restaurant’s small size. It’s definitely worth the visit, but be sure to plan carefully or arrive early to avoid the long lines. Once seated, you’ll find the experience more than worth the wait!

Had to edit my review to 5 starts because I went back after a long while and I had the best experience. The food was so tasty, the service was great and the vibes were awesome. Had an array of dishes and everything was full of flavor and so well made, the drinks were so good too. You have to try it.

Went here last night for a date night and it was alright. We came here on a Thursday at 4:45pm and it was already insane even though the restaurant opened at 4pm. The parking lot was also disastrous and we had to loop around three times until we found a spot. This was not the restaurant’s fault though. We immediately got a table inside which was nice, but there was a line for the outdoor seating so expect a wait if you’re interested in that.

The service was excellent and the food was great but if you really want to hear the person you’re talking to, you should try somewhere else. It was definitely a fun atmosphere to maybe hang out with friends and there was a bar area too, but I couldn’t hear a word my boyfriend was saying because there was so much noise of people talking and music inside. I definitely don’t regret the food though. I got the sayulita rice bowl and it was a huge portion of amazingness.

Oh my deliciousness!!! This 3-hour drive and 35-minute wait was absolutely worth it!! I’ll be doing it again except on a week day. The drinks were strong and oh so good. The BEST mexican cuisine EVERRRRRR!!!! Every bit of food you place in your mouth is full of flavor. I haven’t had delicious guacamole since I made my own. This tastes like my guacamole. I want more!! So, I’ll be driving from NJ for quality food and amazing/attentive service.
