The good times roll year-round in downtown Sayner at the Sayner Pub, a full-service sports bar offering a complete menu of sandwiches, salads, pizzas and burgers. It also has a fantastic Friday fish fry! Established in 1945, the Sayner Pub also offers a full-service bar known for its specialty drinks, including fantastic 22-ounce bloody marys that don’t skimp on the garnish. Bands and solo musicians put on weekend shows in the summer, and 12 flat-screen televisions keep sports fans up to date on their favorite teams. The pub is the place to be during football games. Take-out orders are welcome, and many groups rent the pub’s extra dining room for special meetings, events and parties.

Stopped there yesterday ordered a salad and Reuben’s waited 45 minutes for food . Prior to that we decided to order a par cooked pizza for next day. To say the least the pizza was VERY DISAPPOINTING! And this was to be the Pub Deluxe! This photo shows what we had to add to even be edible! Sad as they used to have delicious pizza

While vacationing in the area, we met some friends who live up here for lunch on a Sunday. We ordered a pitcher of Spotted Cow, and a bit later, ordered our food. Our friends had sandwiches, and my wife and I ordered a pizza, their house special. Sandwiches were great, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. Service was as great as the food. Atmosphere was fine, and being Sunday, the Chicago Bears game was on wide screen, followed later by the Packers game. Just before the Packers game was to start, a gentleman in the pub played the National Anthem on trumpet as we all stood for the playing. Very nice touch! We will be back next year for some more pizza and fun!

A visit on Friday, busy evening 626 pm. Table for 3 needed. We knew it was busy and we had to wait. We were told 30 minutes. At the hour mark, went to see what was up , reviewed the book and noticed they had seated 10-15 groups after we signed up with either 2 or 4 patrons. Asked again, and within 5 minutes we were seated. People that came in after us were going home as we were seated. I am not sure of the process used but honestly very disappointed with having to wait for no reason. We remained kind, had a good meal. We will never go back based on the seating issue. We will be also let everyone know about our experience as we don’t want others not to be warned about the poor seating service.

Ive been here twice, both times on a Wednesday for the all you can eat spaghetti. This is a great deal! You need to bring your appetite cause the first serving they bring you is huge and you get half of a french loaf of garlic bread. Wait staff and bar staff are very friendly and courteous.
This has become a regular thing for myself and a couple of buddies. It’s the first stop on our guys night.
I highly recommend stopping here for dinner.
