Very disappointing experience. The open buffet had bad taste overall and very limited variety. For the price they charge, I expected much more selection and better quality. They were not generous with the food or desserts, and many trays were either low or not fresh.
The kharoub drink was the worst I’ve ever had — it tasted like they added too much flower water and completely ruined the flavor.
On top of that, they automatically charge 18% per person for service. That might explain why the service was so careless. The staff seemed more focused on upselling extra items to increase the bill rather than actually providing good service. No attention, no follow-up, nothing.
For almost $50 per person, this place is absolutely not worth it. I would not recommend it. Never come back

Absolutely loved dining at Sayed Mediterranean Kitchen! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — from the creamy hummus and warm bread to the massive mixed grill platter that was full of juicy kebabs, chicken, and lamb. The presentation was amazing, and every dish tasted homemade and authentic. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy ambiance made it a great place to enjoy a meal with family. Definitely one of the best Mediterranean spots in Houston — highly recommend!

Outstanding experience at Sayad, one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. The service was outstanding, fast and courteous. The owner visited the tables few times. The food was super flavorful and filling. We ordered the veggie sampler, fried calamari and fattoush salad with on site baked bread, all great. We then ordered the grilled sea bass along with tehina casserole and sayadeyah rice. Also ordered the ouzi clay pot (mandi), both were exceptionally delicious, just like home. Highly recommended

I love coming to this place for family gatherings because we can sit and visit. Houston is so hot and humid and there are no other lakes, waterfalls or places that we can sit outside and picnic for much of the year. The food here is amazing and the presentation is great. They don’t trust you to get out of the place. We can celebrate birthday parties in graduation for year at ease. I highly recommend the kebabs in the family platters.

We indulged in Mfaraket Batata (egg and cheese), creamy hummus, and the diverse mixed meat family platter. Each egg was perfectly cooked and harmonized beautifully with the bread. The centerpiece, the mixed meat, was incredibly tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, all perfectly seasoned. We can’t wait to return for another wonderful experience!

The food was delicious and well prepared. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of food. They have the most unprofessional and untrained waiting staff. The waiters are looking for larger groups of customers where they know they are guaranteed gratuity that is marked up in the bill. But if you are single person or two persons, they hardly notice you and come take your order. The manager ushered in one of the waiter to have me and my son seated, but the waiter told the manager to do it himself. It wasn’t that place was busy. It was not. After a long wait, I had to get up and ask the manager if someone will be taking order for our table. The waitress assigned to our table was probably doing the work as if she was doing us a favor. It’s not like our order was small bcos our bill was close to $100. The wait staff seriously needs to be trained and their service improved. Otherwise, they are plenty of other places that offer good food and excellent service too.
