Best Thai / Laotian food in the kent valley by a mile.

Denise is awesome, the food is awesome, they will custom make anything they have ingredients for at comparable price to menu items. I cant praise this restaurant highly enough.

There’s a reason a massive regular crowd comes to this welcoming family restaurant.

Food is delicious, staff is amazing, fast service, affordable lunch/dinner options, lots of seating, and again… the food is epic.

We decided to try Saya based on good reviews. We were not disappointed.
It’s casual restaurant with Thai/Teriyaki/Pho. There’s no fancy decorations. Just straight forward food and service. We aimed for Thai this time.
The pad Thai was decent. We enjoyed the green curry as well. The amount of rice which comes with the order was not much. Wish a bigger rice bowl is offered.
The service was very courteous and friendly. We appreciate their flexibility to substitute certain ingredients.

Updated review 6/25:
This visit during lunch was very disappointing. Almost seems like it’s totally different ppl running the restaurant.
Upon entering, there’s no one to greet us or seat us for a while. After seating, we couldn’t even get an eye contact for service for about 15 minutes. We almost gave up to go somewhere else.
The prices have gone way up from previous and the quality has gone down at the same time. Presentation wasn’t appetizing either. The pad won sen was lame. Mostly noodles with very little meat. Taste was far too sweet. And, of course, no one cares if we liked our food or if we need anything else.
From beginning to end, there was no smiles, no cheers. All we’ve heard was the older waitress complaining loudly about other customers.
Needless to say, this will be our last visit here.

Not a fancy restaurant by ANY means, but the food was really good and the folks who served us were really nice. Chicken karaage is the best I’ve ever had. The spicy karaage was an interesting twist on the former. Our server recommended the gai yang which was also outstanding. We also had their panang curry, which we felt would have been better if thicker – it was more like a soup than a tradition panang. Fresh rolls were pretty standard fair.

This place is the real deal. Thai restaurants normally have WAY TOO MANY ITEMS on the menu to be able to turn out the best product possible. Not Saya, the menu is smaller, but the food is absolutely great.
This place is family owned, been there 30+ years, service is great. Lunch in VERY busy, dinner as well. I’ve eaten here 4 times in the last month. That says a lot, the fried chicken, Pad-see-ew, Pad-thai, fresh rolls, Thai iced tea is 100% on point.
I’ve lived in SE Asia, Thailand is one of those places, they call it “land of a million smiles.” This is a reason to smile. Check it out yourself, value, flavor, price? Cannot be beat.

This place hits! I’ve had so many people recommend this place, finally found the talk of the talk town. We even got the food to go and it still was so good!! No doubt it would 10/5 stars, if we ate at the restaurant. The chicken karaage is on another level – you must get this!. If you’re looking for huge portions, good food – look no further.

I tried this from a recommendation from friends. I got the chicken pad Thai and no flavor at all. Very bland. Maybe other dishes are good. like I just went back to my normal place for dinner because I’m not gonna eat this.

The noodles and vegetables are fresh and really good. I enjoyed the food. They give very big portions and it is a great value. I would recommend coming here for the Thai food. I enjoyed my pad see ew dish.

First went here, back in 2018, and they’re still amazing. Serving sizes are generous, for both, dine-in and take out. For the size, i’d argue the price is very fair. Highly recommend anything on their menu but especially their karaage (they have a house sauce that pairs perfectly). Theyre family run, and the food really never misses, can’t recommend this place enough. 11/10

The bottle of Sriracha sauce given to us had a “Best Before” date of February 2025. Checked their other bottles which all had best before dates of April 2025. Food was good. However, the waiter served our food, but never came back again during our 40 minutes of seated dining. Only came back to give us the check.
