Nice people, but the pizza was mediocre at best. The issue with the pizza was it was doughy.
We also had a ham grinder, French fries, and a creamy chicken rice soup – all of which was good.
If I were just rating the pizza, I would say three stars is probably generous, but to be fair, everything else was good, so I believe 4 stars is fair.
The menu here is pretty big. They not only have a kids menu, but a seniors menu too…
This place has been here for as long as I can remember and is a Plainville staple.
I think if we try this place again, I will have to try a steak sandwich. They appear to have a lot of steak sandwich options, so I suspect that they are good.

Yesterday, I went in for a buffalo chicken wrap. The lady who took my order was very nice; however, when I received my food, there wasn’t one hint of buffalo chicken taste. It was more of a regular grilled chicken wrap with provolone cheese. Anyone who eats buffalo chicken wraps knows that you make them with buffalo sauce, blue cheese, and a wrap. I know some other places are a bit different, but those are the basic ingredients for a buffalo chicken wrap. I showed my wrap to the lady who took my order, and she stated that it was a buffalo chicken wrap, but I did not taste anything buffalo in it. My fries were good, my coleslaw was plain, and my soda tasted flat. For my first time going there, I was excited to try their food, but I won’t be going back or ordering anything else besides pizza from this place. I did get a slice of pizza, which to me was good, but the buffalo chicken wrap certainly did not taste anything like a buffalo chicken wrap is supposed to.

This used to be a good restaurant food taste good clean now it’s a disgusting filthy restaurant food has no flavor ownership does not care about the quality of food the bathrooms are filthy this place needs to be shut down by the health department do not eat there cuz you don’t know what’s in your food and I’m only saying this because when Jimmy owned it years ago it wasn’t great restaurant. A party of 5 seated right away. We ordered Clam strips, a large bacon pizza and large BBQ Chicken pizza. Everything was tasty however the sauce on the bbq chicken pizza tasted like sweet and sour sauce rather than bbq. Service was quick and prices were decent for our party size.

This was my first time coming here and decided to try the steak and cheese. I couldn’t wait to try their steak and cheese. They even post it on the sign in front of there building so i assumed it was a to die for sandwich. When i got my steak and cheese i could not believe that it barely had any meat on it. I just sent it back and wont waste my money or time coming back here. Waitress did offer to remake my sandwich but i declined. Most restaurants wouldn’t serve that to someone like that. I would be embarrassed to serve this to a customer if i owned a restaurant. I’ve enclosed pics of the sandwich.

Not a fan at all. I got the steak and cheese because it was hyped up and it was not good at all. There was almost no meat even on it, and what was there did not taste right at all. My husband’s roast beef sub was the same way with very small amount of meat. Chicken fingers left a lot to be desired as well.
Woman taking orders was pretty rude and didn’t let you get a word in. Definitely better options than this place.

It taste like frozen school pizza. If Connecticut is “The Home Of Pizza” I would atleast be proud of owning that title. I belive the family that runs it now is just killing the name of the family before them… it’s a shame..

I ordered a slice of pizza and steak n cheese sub. Both we equally delicious and very accomadating to some changes on what’s on the menu. I ended up getting exactly what I came for; very comforting food and friendly, speedy service. Yum, that sub though!! Cant stopping thinking of it.
