I had the fried pork chops, smothered and gravy with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole

Pork chop was very Good

And my wife had the tomato bisque soup with grilled cheese again a very good choice

We finished with the German chocolate cake. It was out of sight.

Madeline was our waitress and she did a really good job

A Heartwarming Home-Cooked Experience

Rating: 5/5 stars

I had the pleasure of dining at the Sawmill Grill, and it was an exceptional experience that transported me straight to the comfort of my momma’s kitchen. The food was outstanding – every bite tasted like it was made with love and care, just like home cooking. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and everything felt like a warm hug for my taste buds.

The Sawmill Grill nailed the essence of home cooking, and I left feeling like I’d just had a meal made with love by someone who truly cares. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s like sitting down at momma’s table, look no further than the Sawmill Grill. Highly recommend!

We were seated right away, 900am on a Sunday morning-and the host brought us our orange juices. We were never waited on. The waitress two tables down was jaw jacking about dinosaurs with the patrons at that table and never came to our table to see if anyone had taken our order. We waited a good 20 minutes- no one came to our table. We left a $10 bill for the juice. We won’t be back. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Atmosphere and service was great! Bathrooms were pretty clean, a biggie for me! Food was decent, basic Southern and American breakfast fare. Would go again and we recommend! ☕️

Went and got homefries with peppers and cheese and onions – amazing! Biscuits with gravy, sunny side up eggs, blueberry waffles! Servers were lovely and very friendly – will come back!

Ate here for the first time today. Hands down one of the best breakfasts we had down there. The portions were absolutely huge, and the food and wait staff were incredible.

The food is always good but service (just like most establishments these days) is dwindling. Usually get take out and was surprised when we called our order in this morning how much the prices have gone up. Not a big deal but the website needs to be updated to reflect. Anyway, ordered two Sawmill Benedict’s to go and two Logjam Omelets.
The Benedict’s were missing the sausage gravy and I guess you don’t get toast with the omelets anymore.

Unbelievable. Not really that busy. At least 20 people working. Several empty but dirty tables everywhere while people waiting outside. I stood at the reception for 10 mins, 4 employees came to play with the wait list but not one acknowledged me. The manager actually said they were short staffed and had only 2 cooks but im looking at some many employees. What does the number of cooks have to do with being seated or acknowledged? I was only 1 person and would have been happy to sit at the counter with 6 empty chairs. Too bad, I bet this could have been some tasty food. I tried!

Oh lord… I imagine heaven is like this. My guy said it was good on the way… but what he meant was fantabulous. The Crabcake Benedict was just out of this world full of crab.. eggs perfect and hollandaise light and tangy. He had the redneck burrito and it could have easily be shared or taken home for lunch. This white gravy is legit…like my mom’s These portions are hefty and so delicious. I almost went back the next day. Don’t miss this gem. I’ll see you again soon.

Well, I’ve been to Sawmill before and the food was great! But it is always hit or miss. This time, the green beans were flavorless (canned), the mashed potatoes were instant and ugh, tasted like it even with gravy. My mom always tried to fool me with that! The chicken pastry was chicken and dumplings with chewy chicken that tasted like leftovers. And the waitress took our order, came back to say they didn’t have something, delivered our order and was done. I had to request to go to the bar to request a to-go box. Just not a happy experience
