I finally got to try this place for the first time and I was amazed. It’s a quaint little “hole-in-the-wall” dive on your way to Baxter State Park. The inside was decorated with old tools that were used in the saw mills way back in the day. The ladies were so friendly and accommodating. The food was AMAZING! The burger was beautifully juicy and the buns were toasted nicely to balance the burger and these are by far some of THE best tasting fries I’ve had in a long time. Very crisp on the outside but the inside was nice and flavorful. The price was fair for the fantastic quality food and service and I recommend people stopping in and trying them yourselves!

The food is amazing. And the atmosphere is so inviting. Being new to the area we felt right at home. They do get pretty busy some evenings so service can be a little slower due to not enough waitstaff but if you’re not in a rush and want to enjoy great food then I would definitely recommend. ATV and snowmobile friendly. Clean restaurant. We have ate their twice now and it’s our favorite restaurant in Millinocket.

This place has great service, food is good for the price you pay, definitely a good deal. I had the steak and it was very good and I didn’t walk away hungry. The bride had the fish and chips and she said it was good not the best she has had but for the price once again a good deal. We will be back in the future . It’s a cool little place out of the way.

I had an awesome visit to the Sawmill Bar & Grill yesterday. The restaurant was busy when we got there but we only waited a minute to get a table. The service at the table was prompt and friendly. We ordered The Great Northern pizza, it was awesome! This huge pizza has a ton of toppings and a good crust.

We stopped here on our way back from Baxter State Park. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious and well- priced. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks, and those who don’t!! My steak quesadilla was so large, I couldn’t eat it all and the potato skins were just as we like them, fried first and loaded w cheese and bacon. They were also huge!!! Tim had the wings which were moist and a good size. They also had fresh brewed unsweetened ice tea which was a plus!
