Mind oh mind the first best decision in 2026! Everything was super delicious that we didn’t want to write a review because we’re afraid that they’d become so popular, and we have to wait in line next time.
The food quality is 10 out of 10. The portion was perfect for 4 adults to share on each dish. Most dishes are even more delicious than what we could get in Thailand!
The presentation on each dish was very thoughtful and detailed oriented. Our kids (7-13) were super grateful they got to eat the food the same quality they used to taste in Thailand.
Oh, they also have the best Thai iced tea, not the sugar and color only kind. It tasted like the real deal.
Also, be mindful not to order extra spicy because as Thais who eat spicy food, we were suffering when we ordered the soup extra spicy!
Definitely going back to try the rest on the menu!
We ordered the tofu cloud, spicy drunken heaven, and the lemongrass catfish. The tofu cloud came with this thick and sweet peanut sauce. I enjoyed the aromatics in the drunken noodles. Our favorite was definitely the catfish. Make sure to eat everything while it is hot! You can taste the freshness in the catfish.
Food is most important at a restaurant, yet I’d like to highlight how well decorated Sawaan is. They put a lot of effort in the design choices from the ceramics to the light fixtures to the menu.
Another standout was the spicy stir-fried seafood, packed with fresh shrimp and squid. The flavors were bold, rich, and perfectly balanced with that signature Thai heat that keeps you coming back for more. Every bite was full of aroma and excitement, making it one of the best versions of this dish I’ve had.
The service was warm and friendly, with staff who made the dining experience feel welcoming and relaxed. Combined with the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, it’s the kind of place where you can enjoy not just the food but also the overall experience.
Overall, this is a hidden gem for anyone who loves real Thai cuisine—delicious food, great service, and a comfortable ambiance that makes you want to return.

I had the lemongrass fish with jasmine rice along with Hatyai-style crispy chicken. Every dish was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The staff were warm and welcoming — it really felt like dining at home.

We had the spicy drunken noodles made with the nostalgic Mama noodles that had the addicting Thai chili heat and the cloud rings were fried shrimp cakes.
It was a super tasty and delicious experience. An awesome new addition to the neighborhood.
