Sawa Sushi Fitchburg Grand Opening!
336 Summer St, Fitchburg
I had a Monster Sushi Rice bowl, crab rangoons and Passion fruit bubble tea—-all very, very good. Fresh!
Place was PACKED for lunch! $1 bubble tea with entree for the Grand Opening special.
Free wifi, free miso soup, hand towels… very nice place to stop and have a healthy lunch.
Outdoor patio too.
Some of the best crab rangoons I’ve had.

Made your own bowl. It’s tasty, fresh fish and clean store. Miso soup is completely!!! That’s great service to eat Japanese Sushi style food. Only negative part is green tea was so sweet… black green tea is needed! Ponzu, soy sources are good for fish and avocado! Let’s try!

The sweetheart roll and the seaweed salad were very good. I will definitely be heading back there soon to try out the sushi burrito setup they have…. It’s like chipotle but with sushi…. Genius… Can’t wait to give it a try. Food was great and service was quick. The bubble teas look very good as well.

Let me give you some highlights:
-Customer service/hospitality was top notch
-Food wasn’t too expensive
-Chairs and tables, high chairs and booster seats, perfect for date night or family dinner
-A restroom
-Take out was quick and delicious
-Major credit cards are accepted
-Generous portions
And most importantly:
-Quality of the food was amazing. This is not ‘fast food’. This is not McDonald’s. This was fresh. This was flavorful. This was handcrafted. This was delicious. I loved every bite of my meal. I pulled out the Thai Spicy Basil Fried Rice and immediately thought ‘Will I need sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce? Will it be dry?’ The answer: heck no! it was moist, savory, spicy but not overpoweringly so, and seasoned just right. Tons of shrimp too!
I see a lot of people are still hung up on the old menu that used to be here. But come here with an open mind and get ready to have it blown

This place is amazing! The atmosphere, the service and quickness of providing customers with fresh and delicious Japanese cuisine. The sushi is so fresh and made with craft and care for each roll makes the sushi so good to eat and enjoy every roll. Sawa’s diner dishes have great portions and quality of food cooked is perfection at its finest. Highly recommend going in and getting the crispy eel roll with steamed pork buns, bubble tea and the delicious free miso soup!!

Excellent sushi for a little hole in the wall. Everything is fresh. They have free miso soup and kimchi for guests. The bubble tea is delicious, with lots of flavor options. A must try is the sushi burritos and poke bowls ❤ Delivery is also an option now too!

Most of the ramen is really good. I would give a 5 star review, but they stopped giving pork buns with their bowls, and the dessert they advertise is usually out of stock. Otherwise, a great place.

They put hot food right on top of sushi, if you can even call it sushi. Big disappointment. If you like actual fish and not some paste, then do NOT get food here. The only thing that was semi-enjoyable was the free sample soup, but even that wasn’t too good.

Food is great and reasonably priced. Customer service is prompt just about eaten everything on their menu. They do tempura sushi not actual uncooked fish so if you’re new to sushi definitely worth the try

The staff is friendly and fast, the food is so good and really reasonably priced, and they have complimentary self-serve miso soup! One of my favorite places to stop for a quick bite. Not fancy, but it is meant to be more cafe-ish than a sit down place, and its still clean and open and cozy. Love it!!
