I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. We had a very poor experience with Savvy Sliders of Chesterfield on Super Bowl Sunday.

Understanding that Super Bowl Sunday is one of the busiest days for food establishments, we intentionally planned ahead. Our family enjoys Savvy Sliders, so we placed a large DoorDash order (over $100) at 10:00 AM, requesting delivery between 7:00–7:30 PM, specifically to give the store ample time to prepare before the evening rush.

Despite this advance planning, when the Dasher arrived at 7:00 PM, the restaurant canceled the entire order with no meaningful explanation, only stating they were no longer taking orders and that the wait would be two hours. This was after we even offered to pick the order up ourselves. The end result was a house full of guests with no food and zero effort from the store to offer a solution or accommodation.

This was a clear failure in planning and customer service. There were several reasonable ways this situation could have been handled better, but none were attempted. Unfortunately, Savvy Sliders of Chesterfield has lost our business as a result.

Food quality and quantity have gone way downhill. I remember why I stopped going here about a year ago. They also take forever which is weird because the food wasn’t fresh. Got some tiny, dry chicken fingers and about half an order of fries.

This has pretty much been my go-to fast food spot since they opened this location years ago. The food has never let me down. But I want to shout out my guy Steven. I’ve been to many “luxury” restaurants and have never received half as good of service as Steven provided at the drive-thru tonight. Employees like him need to be valued by their employer because that’s extremely rare to come across today, especially in this industry. I hope his positive energy and respect for the job doesn’t go unnoticed.

Also – I see a lot of people complain about the wait at the drive thru. Please understand this isn’t the fast food places next door. They make this food fresh. You’re paying for quality here.

Complete chaos trying to pick up my order for Super Bowl Sunday! I made the order online Friday afternoon, 48 hours before pickup, with a scheduled pick up time at 5pm. Email confirmation and everything.

When I arrived at the Chesterfield location at 5:05pm for pickup, there was no one behind the counter and about 10 different people waiting for their orders. People would just walk over behind the counter and yell a name out, when that customer wasn’t even in the building for pickup.

Finally someone came to the counter and talked to some customers. When asked how much longer CBC it would be until their order was ready, the answer was “I have no idea. We have 5 workers and 30 orders.” How can the store not be properly staffed for Super Bowl Sunday? Especially when Savvy Sliders was offering a Super Bowl promo?

Now there were about 15-20 people waiting when I was finally able to get someone’s attention to look up my order. She wasn’t able to find it at all in the system?? I showed her the email confirmation and was told that ticket number wasn’t showing an order, when I had a clear confirmation.

At this point I’ve been waiting for almost an hour, and they don’t even have record of my order. I asked to cancel my order, but since she couldn’t find the order I was told “I’m going to call IT in a few minutes because I’m about to leave for the night… down to only 4 employees… and someone from the store will call you tomorrow since I’m not in this location.” They did refund me the full amount this morning without me having to reach back out.

I had a house full of people waiting for food. Luckily I was able to go through McDonald’s drive through and order 20 burgers that took them 15 minutes to make and Little Ceasars to pick up some pizza, who had more than 10 people working, prepared for the busy night.

Awful experience at Savvy Sliders. Terrible job by the owner and manager for not having the location staffed for the busy night. I felt sorry for the few workers there, but there was absolutely zero organization and no one knew what was going on.

I love savvy sliders! Their custard shakes are delicious as well as the chicken tenders. I did not order either this time I got the slider box. The sliders did not come in the Detroit Lions box but they still tasted good. 10 sliders for $25 is a good deal!

Saw them on FOX2 Sunday 9/7, the food looked really tasty, then they showed their wings. Got the 25 for $25 and….THEY HAVE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. We haven’t had takeout wings THIS DELICIOUS in literally years. The Savvy Sauce was good paired with, but we never had it and it had a heavy dill herb flavor to us. Still delicious, when we order again (addicted!) we’re going to try a different sauce. So glad they have such awesome chicken so close to home!!!

We placed an order a few days after Christmas and arrived to pick it up only to be told it wasn’t ready, so we had to leave and come back later. When we returned, we still had to wait because the condiments weren’t prepared—even though the restaurant was completely empty. Some of the food also seemed cool, which was very frustrating given the delays. We were picking up food for a party, and there seemed to be no sense of urgency. While the employee did apologize, it was confusing to see multiple staff members standing around while nothing was ready.

We had a great experience at Savvy Sliders! We aren’t from the area, and the new GM, Steven, took our order and was incredibly helpful. He made recommendations, answered our questions, and did it all with a big smile. The service really stood out and made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town again in August. !

Horrible experience with this location on Super Bowl Sunday with a house full of people. We ordered the morning of and all went as planned up until delivery was at first late ( not a huge deal and understandable being a busy day) 10 min later another update that our order was cancelled because Savys couldn’t fulfill the order. Of course I called to find out what the issue was and no answer blamed me
That the order was never sent. I offered to pick up and was told not possible. I call back and ask for a manager who was just as clueless and said yes we can place the order (now it’s 830 pm) but it will take 2.5 hours before it would be ready. Manager was very rude /had to rush to find something to make for our guests. I will never go back. Worst customer service ever
