What it “lacks” in the interior it definitely makes up for with the knowledge of its service staff. The interior is more dimly-lit, with large TVs and some comfy couches. This is an official spot to watch 49ers games so if you’re a sports fan definitely note this one down.
I liked that the service was helpful but not overbearing. Our waiter was able to recommend two different red wines for my friend and I really enjoyed the vinho verde I had.
We ordered the charcuterie board to share between the two of us. This was a GREAT portion and came with a huge basket of sliced French bread. Perfect size to snack and graze on during the night.
The bill came out to $53/pp incl. tax+tip for: 3 drinks total + 1 charcuterie board. It was definitely pricey in my opinion but I did really like my wine selection.
Overall, great spot to hangout without a rushed vibe. Friendly service and easy eats.
I walked in as someone who didn’t like red wine, and left as a true convert after being guided to exceptional wines, by the extremely knowledgeable owner Manny. Every wine Manny suggested absolutely hit the mark, with my two favourites being a red 2021 Koncha & Co sweet Saperavi from Georgia, and a white Koncha & Co Kisi.
The atmosphere is really cosy and welcoming. Hours will disappear here as it’s so relaxing.
Highly recommend and will be back next weekend!
Oh and the cheese board was Amazing too.

Next I had tried the Versos (Italian) wine made by women wine makers with minimal intervention. It is made using the Mencia grapes and is light bodied with notes of cranberries. The wine pairs well with a light meal. Relative to a Pinot, but better!
.
The wine Mur Verde is a Spanish wine; organic and more fuller/ structured relative to a Merlot. When you think organic, you assume there’s more bitterness to the wine and off flavors, but not this. By far some of the best organic wine I’ve had! It paired nicely with the vegetables and veggie cutlets along with the goat cheese & sundried tomato crostinis.
.
The Westgate is a French wine from the south of France. This was more relative to a Cab and very filling. Strong notes of berries, and paired well with the margarita flatbread I had.

Their cheese platters looked amazing as well, however my appetite was filled from the wine and bites that I couldn’t fathom anything else. 10/10 I recommend a visit for the service, delicious wine and pairings, and just to get away on a nice day.
