Today was my first day at Savory Cafe after living in Woodland for five years. We have been missing out!

I had the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious! I did add a ton of pepper, but that’s personal preference. The mimosa carafe was fantastic. Pro tip-order juice on the side. You control the sweetness.

The only downside was the slow service. We waited ten minutes for a server (almost left) and even after ordering a carafe, it didn’t come until our food did. Not good form.

We will definitely return with the hope that today’s service was just off.

Atmosphere better than the food. I got the country fried steak breakfast, the gravy was soupy and salty, and the potatoes were good but very salty. No real breakfast combinations for waffles and pancakes, which is very disappointing . Also, the waitress never asked if anything else was needed at our table, unlike with the other patrons.

The food was wonderful AND Gluten free! Almost wanted to lick the plate! Shared and we both left satisfied. Picture is of only half so portion size was good. Gluten free options were plentiful.

Reading the reviews I was expecting awesome food. The write up on the menu leads you believe the food is a notch above. Wife ordered the simple two egg breakfast and I order biscuits and gravy. Food came quickly. Both were cold. Her’s was nothing great. Mine was the worst biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. We didn’t complain because the server didn’t return after delivering the food. Food is not equal to the price. Will not return.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

Visited on a busy Sunday morning (C/10 Intervention weekend) and we’re very pleased. Staff was super polite. Food was FANTASTIC. Prices were fair.

Restrooms are just outside. Ask staff for the key (I didn’t know to do this) and they will let you know where it is hanging.

I would recommend this location and suggest you leave a rating (via Google Maps app) to help others.

This is by far my favorite breakfast place to go in Woodland. The food is always amazing. The staff are so polite. If your ever in Woodland at breakfast/brunch time go here. You won’t be disappointed.

I went there for brunch & asked for a mimosa & they didn’t have champagne l!!! which restaurant that offers mimosas runs out of champagne!? Nugget Market is just down the street, I ordered 2 eggs over hard and they were still a bit undone, the country potatoes were very dry & they ran out of white toast so I had to get wheat! I then ordered a Bloody Mary that was basically tomato juice with no fixings just a piece of bacon!! And customer service bad, I had to wave to our waitress who did not check on us and they were not busy! Next time I’ll drive the extra 25 miles & go to Putah Creek cafe and enjoy my brunch!

We happened to be driving through Woodland about 8 am on our way to the Bay Area one rainy day. We stopped at the Savory Cafe for a delicious breakfast while the traffic died down. It was a pleasant serendipitous surprise.
