Savores Grill House Restaurant Review – Vero Beach, FL

Reviews
Open air concept with no indoor dining, that we could see. It’s a curtain only separating you from the street traffic. Summer camp picnic table type seating.
Service:
The menu isn’t all in English so some recommendations or clarifying would have been nice. $4 fountain drinks would have expected more than a refill and I don’t think it’s Coca Cola, tasted very off brand, not Pepsi. Food took more than 25 minutes to arrive.
Food:
Even with the setting and service being ok, good food would have made it all right. Unfortunately, it was bad. The guacamole is a pudding that tastes like olives and not nearly enough chips. The entree lacked any flavor. We’ve been to Venezuela and this was not Venezuelan. There wasn’t even much salt. The rice is white not even Spanish. I could go on but, this isn’t authentic so you might as well save your money and hit up a stand or Taco Bell.
PS The photo of my meal was taken after several savory bites. Oops. Trust me the presentation was spot on!
Savores Grill House is a hidden gem that delivers not just a meal, but a culinary experience that awakens both memory and palate. From the very first bite, it’s clear that authenticity and care are at the heart of this establishment.
The Azada Bowl is a standout dish — the rice and beans are 100% authentic, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The beans, in particular, deserve special mention for their richness and depth. The soup is crafted with comforting precision, delivering exactly what one hopes for in every spoonful. Though I’m not from their country of origin, the flavors transported me straight back to Puerto Rico, a testament to the restaurant’s ability to connect through food.
For those craving something more familiar, the burger was excellent, cooked with balance and quality ingredients. To complement the meal, the passion fruit drink was exceptional — refreshing, vibrant, and unforgettable.
The atmosphere is equally inviting. With plenty of parking and the option to sit outside under a cooling fan, the tropical ambiance enhances the dining experience, making it feel both comfortable and refreshing.
Savores Grill House has not only earned my respect but also my promise to return. A place where flavor meets memory, and where authenticity shines through every dish.

The restaurant features a small stage, and our server mentioned they host live music on weekends, alternating between country and Spanish genres, which sounds like a nice addition. As for the food, I found it to be satisfactory but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. I am open to giving this establishment another try in the future if an opportunity arises. Overall, it presents a pleasant setting with potential for improvement.
It was empty for a Friday night, but not sure how busy it gets at other times.
The server was nice and friendly.
My husband and I spent $63 for two people. We ordered the combo for two and two empanadas. The empanadas were delicious, fresh and flavorfuland the yuca frita was also very good. The tostones, however, were overcooked, and while the salad was good, the steak seemed like it had been reheated or kept under a heat lamp. By the time it reached our table, it was only warm and quickly became cold, which made it hard to enjoy.
The water tasted off (almost like peroxide), though the server did bring me a bottled water when I mentioned it, which I appreciated. However, service overall was lacking, our server disappeared into the kitchen for long periods, making it difficult to ask questions or order drinks.
The ambiance is nice, with shaded outdoor seating, but for the price and quality of service, the experience did not meet expectations. I hope they can improve consistency in their food and service because the place has potential.
Recently, something changed. Every time I come here, I get nauseated. I thought it was me, but it happened when I reheated the food too.
Today, I was feeling great. Afterward, I came home sick on the bed. Maybe it’s the oil?
Today, I ate a burger and toastones.Tasted like frozen beef and was bland. Didn’t taste grilled. How did it win 2nd place?
I’ve had most of the menu.
Things that have changed:
Portion size
Quality of food
Oily
Frozen meat
Tough meat
It’s sad because it was one of my favorite places.
Staff is usually nice and place is cute outdoors.
