The restaurant has a fancy vibe, and the service at the table was great. However, we waited an hour for our food even though there was only one other table with two customers on the second floor. I’m not sure how busy the first floor was, but we were extremely hungry by the time the food arrived.

I was also disappointed with how our phone call was handled. I called to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late for our reservation. The woman who answered sounded quite upset and repeatedly emphasized that we couldn’t be late because it was a full house. I explained that we would try our best, but our ETA was about 10 minutes past the reservation time. When we arrived and even until we left, the restaurant was only about half full, which made the earlier reaction confusing.

As for the food, the main dish scallops and mussels we ordered as an appetizer were very small in portion. The mushroom salad seemed dried out, as if it had been sitting for a while before being served. Both dishes were extremely garlicky.

The highlight of the meal was the pad Thai. The noodles were perfectly cooked and delicious. The green curry was also good, with a nice mild spicy kick.

This fantastic restaurant, with its beautiful decor and two floors, was a delightful experience. Although the second floor was closed during our visit, the friendly staff kindly turned on the lights so we could capture some photos. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We even brought a cake to celebrate a friend’s birthday, but unfortunately, the restaurant couldn’t cut it. However, they graciously offered us a complimentary mini dessert. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

I went for 4 winterlicious tasting menus around Toronto and this was my favourite! I have eaten a lot of Thai food in my lifetime – here in North America, across Southeast Asia and ofc, in Thailand as well. It’s hard to be impressed with modern Thai restaurants but I was with Savor Thai. Everything from food to service to ambience was yummy, warm & good vibes respectively.

They did take a while to serve us food but we were in no rush and they were packed given that it was the last day of Winterlicious.

I especially like when a restaurant can take classic cuisine dishes and give it an inventive twist that still feels authentically Thai. Savor Thai has done a good job with that.

My family and I are already planning to come back again!

One-of-a-kind dining experience at Savor Thai!
We visited for the 10-course tasting menu, which starts at $135 per person, and were impressed from start to finish. Every dish arrived with a spectacular presentation and a touch of storytelling. Our server was knowledgeable and detailed, sharing the chef’s inspirations behind each creation.

The entire experience took us on a surreal gastronomic journey through Southeast Asia — engaging all the senses. A true celebration of flavour, artistry, and culture.

Enjoy, indulge, and of course… savor the Thai flavours! ️✨

We got one of the clamshell booths and it was great, this restaurant doesn’t stuff in the patrons so the noise is manageable as well. They have a private room upstairs, we found the food and the service was fantastic, some of the best Thai I’ve had. We were a group of four and I had a reservation for this Saturday, I recommend the We were a group of four and I had a reservation for this Saturday, I recommend their reservation though make sure you read the cancellation policy.

Edited after restaurant response:
I am actually very disappointed in the restaurant’s response. Instead of taking ownership for the fact that the shrimp I ordered at the exact same time as the pad Thai was brought out 15 minutes later, I received a response about items being prepared a la minute. It was quite clear as day to me that the server completely forgot to put in the item. When the runner brought the food out to the table, he looked shocked when I asked about the shrimp because it was probably never inputted by the server. Mistakes happen, I can understand that but there is no reason to try to cover it up. Honesty is the best policy.

Pros: Decor is nice. Hostess was very friendly and welcoming. They were mindful of my peanut allergy.

Cons: I ordered Pad Thai with Tiger Shrimp as the protein. Tiger Shrimp came 15-20 mins after the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was already lukewarm when I received it so waiting for the protein obviously made my dish cold by the time I ate it. Tiger Shrimp were large (I received 3) but chewy and what seemed to be overcooked. Portion size extremely small for $34 Shrimp Pad Thai. It wouldn’t hurt to add more noodles but clearly that is purposely done to force customers to order more food. Most of the plate is garnished with fried taro and lotus root to disguise the fact there are few noodles. Flavours were ok.
There is a minimum option of 20% gratuity on the POS terminal. Very audacious of a restaurant to do that. It feels very forced and intentional.

My friend and I went there for the summerlicious experience and at $100 per person excluding drinks, it was a steeply priced menu, but totally worth it. Every dish and course was perfectly executed.
The team is warm and welcoming, and took extremely good care of us to note even the slightest detail.

The restaurant is visually spectacular! Best Pad Thai I’ve had in the city! The sticky mango dessert is otherworldly!!! Spicy salad also blew my mind! I cannot wait to return as I’m still thinking about this magnificent dinner.

We did the chef’s tasting menu and loved every dish. Jantana was extremely helpful in explaining the dishes and what was the best way to eat them. We will definitely be back.
