cozy, charming breakfast and brunch spot in Burlington with a French-inspired menu. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, from flaky croissants and artisanal pastries to hearty breakfast sandwiches and quiche. Service is friendly and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a great spot to start your day. It’s popular though, so seats fill up quickly, but well worth the wait for delicious breakfast fare

I came here for some pastries but stayed for lunch. It was busy, but the service was fast and friendly. I got the ratatouille toast, it was good, big enough for me to take half of it home. The dessert list was huge. The lemon tart I got was amazing. Definitely coming back for more pastries next time I’m in Burlington.

Me and my family had a great breakfast here! The customer service was excellent, our server was easy going and friendly. The food we ordered was delicious. Although the prices were a bit expensive, the quality and flavour made it worth it. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Update! Okay, I had to go back to Ontario for another appointment so my sister-in-law absolutely had to come back to this amazing restaurant. I had literal tears in my eyes when I took a bite of my quiche. I have never had any egg dish quite like it….. It was so creamy and delicious and the homemade pastry crust was to die for!

Our servers were, again, absolutely amazing and so very helpful with the menu and helping us decide what to get. We filled up on some to-go items to take home to PEI….. Some of the may not have made the journey lol

The key lime pie was the best I’ve ever had, and I could eat their butter tart eclairs every single day. Might be back up in April… Can’t wait

If I lived near burlington, I would be here every single day! The service and atmosphere was top-notch – the lady that guided us through the numerous types of desserts and baked goods at the front counter was very lovely and such a big help. Everything looked so good, my sister-in-law and I both ended up purchasing a pack of six treats each while we waited for our table.

We were there right at lunch time, so the wait was about 15 minutes but it was well worth it!

You have the option to scan the barcode at your table which allows you to order food for your meal as well as to go treats. It also allows you to pay your bill right away, so there’s no waiting once the meal is done.

The food with outstanding… It was such a hard choice to pick something. The side salad with the dressing was to die for, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better raspberry lemonade. The chicken was so moist that it didn’t need anything with it.

The side vegetables were amazing as well, I never knew I would like Brussel sprouts!

The desserts outstanding, and it was so hard to pick what to take home. I will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing experience!

Highly recommend the savoury Paris-Brest, the coffee, and the macaroons. The macaroons were the biggest I’ve ever seen. Service was quick and efficient, even during a busy Saturday brunch rush. The line moved fast and the servers were extremely pleasant, which really speaks to how well the place is run. The food feels premium and so does the service. I would happily visit again.

If you’re ever in Burlington, do yourself a favour and make a stop at Saving Thyme. Honestly, everything we tried was fantastic. You can tell how much care goes into the food—everything is fresh, made from scratch, and beautifully presented.
We ordered quite a few things (because how could we resist?) the burger was perfect, the chicken confit sandwich was packed with flavour, and the French onion soup was rich and comforting. The breakfast sandwich is a must, and the strawberry olive oil cake? Out of this world. We also had a dulce de leche ball (I’ll have to go back just to remember the name) so good! And there was also a braised chicken leg dish that was delicious too.
Our server, Vanessa, was absolutely lovely, warm, attentive, and just added to the whole experience. The place does get busy, but the wait isn’t long and it’s completely worth it. Can’t recommend this spot enough. We’ll definitely be back!

One of the best bakery cafes in town! Their quiche is to die for… and their croissants are incredibly buttery, flaky and delicious. The herb and garlic cream cheese croissant with honey glaze! Wow!! Flavour explosion! Did I mention they are huge!

A lovely hidden spot in Burlington. Great food, although pricey in some areas. I wasn’t a personal fan of the strawberry olive oil cake as the texture of the cake wasn’t pleasant. Either too moist or crunchy at times. The waiters were very nice and the atmosphere was lovely. They additionally have a gender neutral washroom. Overall, I’d come again to try out some different foods instead.

Excellent breakfast/brunch spot with high quality ingredients and well made dishes.

It’s a first come first serve policy – despite a busy day we were able to get in within 15 minutes.

Once seated you order through your phone. Service was reasonably prompt but since you lack a dedicated server it’s hard to pin someone down and have personable experience (feels like you are at a train station with how quickly the servers were running around) – they had forgotten our pastries/mimosa for about 15 minutes after the meal was done and had to get the rest to go.

The quiche was extremely fresh – the ratatouille toast was well balanced, eggs Benedict was nice but lacked salt somewhat.
Do not get a full plate of frites – it will be too much for one person – get half half with salad.

Mimosa was excellent with freshly squeezed juice as the base.

Highly recommend this spot for brunch.
