This is the Sonic Boom with extra gouda and honey mustard and it was possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. Yesterday I had one half in the car and the other half 3 hours later and it was just as good cold. The chef is absolutely amazing in the kitchen AND super fun to talk to. The gaming shop it is in that her so runs is great too but I will rate that later when I experience it more. Sandwiches and chef though? Top scores all the way and I cant way to try the tomato bisque she wants to put on the menu. Will absolutely come back and tell everyone about it.

This was a unique experience. I read about this when I looked for sandwich shops near me. I was curious. When I entered, I didn’t realize Save Point was inside a gaming room with opportunities for playing video arcades or computer games, even cards or dominoes. There were tables for Legos and duplos for younger customers. It was a clean quiet environment. I got a BLT which was delicious!!

Cool atmosphere but I didn’t pay for that. I paid for a sandwich and I’m sorry but the sandwich I got sucked. Couldn’t even taste the special “buffalo ranch” yet my sandwich still managed to be so soggy it fell apart. It takes a couple minutes to cook bacon and not just put it on a sandwich raw out the packet. I’ll admit the pictures and positive reviews really got me. I had high hopes for this place. The search for a decent sandwich in Waco continues.

When we first walked in, we thought it was just a gaming spot but a super nice lady say we could go on to the sandwich shop and eat. NO RAGRETS! Best sandwich I’ve literally ever had! No joke. 10/10 would eat here again!

If you’re on the fence about trying this sandwich shop, with full confidence I recommend waiting no more and giving it a shot. The environment is 100% family friendly and the restaurant shares space with an awesome store called nexus which anyone from child to adult is sure to find something to appreciate and enjoy. The staff is awesome. They will always stop what they’re doing to greet and welcome you in and offer to show you around or help in any way they can. The sandwiches are top notch. Their biggest one (most consider it a challenge) known as the final boss is my personal favorite. So much great flavor and it’s stacked with all the variety of meats you could ask for. Besides my favorite sandwich there’s a wide variety of others to choose from for every style pallet and appetite. Highly recommend!!

My Sweet Victory sandwich was yummy. It was made to order by Brennan and Matt who took the extra time to listen to my food allergy concerns. As a matter of fact, Matt went above and beyond to make sure I would enjoy my sandwich and be okay. Bring your appetite because the sandwich is good.

Very impressed by this little gem. First off, the obvious theme is fun with a place to play some console games, gaming memorabilia scattered around, and the sand which items all being gaming references.

The sandwich I got was delicious and possibly my favorite thing I ate during my trip to the area. It’s a little pricey, in my opinion. But the taste is worth it.

Best freaking deli sandwiches in all of Waco… period! Ingredients were clearly fresh, portions were MORE than adequate, and the price was shockingly inexpensive! Chef Barbara is a dang magician! The wildest thing was that the Shop is located inside a gaming store! Witnessed people playing various card games and video games… the place was original, authentic and humongous! Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend giving it a try! Simply amazing!

I ordered the Sonic Boom. I love the names they chose for the sandwiches and how they break them down from a level 1 sandwich a level 3 sandwich which contains all the meats and extra bread. My sandwich was extremely good, veggies were fresh and included a dill pickle slice quarter. There a few designated seats for eating food or you can sit on couch or other relaxed environment areas. This eatery is located in Nexus where is nerd heaven especially with food available. Love this place.
