My husband and I truly enjoyed our dinner experience. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Our waitress Sarah was very informative and truly enhanced our visit. I even got to take a selfie with her lol. The ambiance made us feel like we were the only ones there. And at the same time, it felt Warm and cozy. Unfortunately my catfish strip dinner was mediocre. My sides initial brought to the table were room temperature. I told the waiter and he took them back and brought out 2 hot sides. The music and ambiance had a very sexy vibe. I do plan on going back to try another meal and the speakeasy.

Few things bring me the joy of discovering a great restaurant in my adopted hometown of Detroit. Savannah Blue was a perfect take on Southern cooking. Flavorful, high quality, and priced accordingly, the great service only added to my experience. I will definitely be back.

I haven’t been in a few years but it was just as good as ever. Our table got the oxtail, the snapper (my brother ate well!), and the SB salad. It was so good! And special shout out to Stephanie for making my mom’s bday special.

It was a very nice place. I went late and found the last street parking. Not a lot of food choices, they were out of a couple things but what I had was great. I’ll be back to try more. It’s quite expensive and you have to take stairs. I like it though and will tell others.

This restaurant gets a 10 out of 10! Great ambiance! Food was absolutely amazing! Sarah, our waitress was very kind, warm, and attentive! The drinks were also on point! We will definitely be back! We had the whole red snapper and the catfish! Chef’s kiss! Sides: Savannah red rice with sausage, collard greens with smoked turkey, candied yams, and corn muffins! All ten out of 10! For desert we shared the sweet potato cheesecake! Totally delicious! Get here!! They won’t disappoint! Drink…blacker the berry! Amazing!

SavannahBlue has a nice ambiance. The location is great. Walking into the front, our hosts were kind. The waiter was attentive, but I think she was a bit busy with other tables. The catfish fritters were great! We ordered a Caesar salad, it was awfully salty and overdressed. The jambalaya was more like salmon and shrimp with jambalaya broth. It did taste good though. It also took over an hour to get our food. Unfortunately, I do think it’s overpriced for the quality of the food. I would be open to giving it another try.

From meeting and speaking with Dave at the door, to being seated by Gia, having Brittany as our waitress ….EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! Brittany was polite and knowledgeable, she made recommendations, let us know about happy hour, and checked on us throughout our meal. Everything was delicious and fresh! I had the catfish dinner, my sister had the whole snapper and her friend had the fried chicken breasts. The music and ambiance of this place is also so pleasant, mature, and chic. I recommend this restaurant and I myself will surely return without a doubt. Excellent!!!

Now on to the fun stuff – the FOOD & DRINKS!!! Everything we ordered was delicious, seasoned to perfection and presented well.
Overall, we were all really impressed with everything we ordered. I had the SB Jerk Burger, and asked for it to be light with the jerk – and it literally came out absolutely superbly seasoned and cooked medium as I had asked!
I tried the Mac and Cheese that my father-in-law ordered, the Catfish fritters and the Kale Caesar & it was all 10/10!! The drinks were also really delicious.
The ambience in the restaurant definitely gives grown and sexy vibes. There’s a grand piano in one of the main dining spaces, which leads me to believe that they have live music on particular nights – which I’m sure would elevate the entire dining experience.
